My understanding - & I may be wrong - is that due to Graham Clark's employment he felt unable to openly take one side or the other.

It's certainly is drip...drip....drip. We now know that Graham Clark was invited to be part of the working group but still no absolute idea of who actually were part of it. Nor do we know why it went from a magnificent two tiered stand to a one layered montrosity in a matter of a holiday.

It was always going to be the cheapest possible, how else would the lip quiverer's profits be maximised?

Get people onside with a good looking stand, then let them know what is really going to happen, then manage the PR with bullies like Newell leading from the front.

The whole thing stinks.

It's interesting that newell still classes himself as a "fan" considering that hardly anyone else would.
