I've errected and, worse, taken down, the infamous Glastonbury festival toilets in my time. I think I know a thing or two about poo. I fell in one trench .... that wasn't very pleasant. |

| Myself and #1 son have just made a batch of chocolate cupcakes.
i'm diabetic so can't have any. He's 4, so more than one cupcake turns him into a shortarsed crimewave.
Anybody fancy a cupcake?

| I've just made a lush chicken broth. With the chicken I bought for £1.99 on Friday, reduced in Co-op, had chicken and chips x 2, chicken sandwiches twice x 2, and a huge pan of chicken broth. The broth has been shared by 6 people so far and still a couple of bowlfuls left. Do I get in Peggy? |

| Here's a curious thing:
In Tesco, if you buy a three pack of own-brand sweetcorn (small tins) then it's more expensive than buying three cans (same size) individually.
Yesterday while doing the weekly shop in Sainsburys, I noticed that the same applied to Jolly Green Giant brand sweetcorn.
HOWEVER! If you buy Sainsburys own-brand sweetcorn in a three pack, it does work out cheaper than buying three cans individually.
I'm afraid I don't have exact money-to-quantity ratios available but will endeavour to check and provide the information at a later date. |

| Sainsbury's Basic apple sauce works out more expensive per kilo than their normal own brand. I know this because they put the information on the edge of the shelf. |

| Sainsburys sometimes do Henry Weston's on offer, more expensive than buying the bottles individually. I was charged £6 for 4 bottles once, on a 2 for £3 offer, when they were priced at £1.42 each or 2 for £2.84. At the checkout I pointed it out but they wouldn't have any of it so I bought one bottle, paid or it, bought another bottle, paid for it....... |

| I used to work in Sainsburys. Used to know which reduced items you could buy so that they actually used to have to GIVE you money at the checkout didn't go down too well a Manager being paid to take shopping home so we got stopped from doing it. |

Yup. One of the checkout women I worked with used to keep her nectar card by her till and anyone who shopped and didn't have one, she swiped her own card instead. She got caught and was sacked but she never had to pay for her shopping, went on holiday and bought a huge flatscreen tv before she was caught lol. |

| I note there was no mention of the Co-op in your price comparison. Are you keeping something from us?
