St James Park is a shed, and it's full of tools. The other half's car has just packed in so no Xmas pressies for anyone this year. Saves me going to queue in the Post Office.

I've just helped putting a bar together. I am expecting it to be declared open on January 6th. I might have to have a drink before then.

Overtime again today.

I much prefer 'Coffee Mate' to real milk. Only when I'm having a coffee, mind.

I don't think they sell 'Tea Mate' do they? I'm going shopping tomorrow. I'll check.

Haven't been able to face the shops yet. I know - it'll only be worse for me when I do finally get there.

Will probably need to buy milk tomorrow.

In other news, I've just had banana and custard for my pudding. I reckon I now eat more custard than at any time since I was about ten.

Sat on the terrace for most of the day waiting for the Google car.

I didn't see it.

I'm very hot, and have a fair amount of chafing.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Today I made what could have been a big mistake: I went to The Works with a shopping list. Amazingly, I came out again complete with everything on the list.

Also took my mum to the opticians and the library.

Will be buying milk (and other stuff) tomorrow.

I went shopping for the last minute essentials, you know bread, salad bits, 12 litres of still scrumpy and bananas. Town was packed and baby screamed his head off for two hours solid. He's now fast asleep at the wrong time! That means when the missus gets in soon I'm doing one and having a couple of cheeky pints until she goes back to work. Then I'm gonna put the washing machine on and plonk baby in his seat in front of it. Seems to amuse him for a while watching my pants go round and round.

That only works until they're teenagers.
