| Just went to see the St Marys Cathedral (Sydney, NSW) choir and lights Christmas show.
It was very nice, spectacular, pleasant and well attended...but also f**king dull.
'she' liked it though...
cos she's also f**king dull. |

| Fought my way round the supermarket this morning. Why do people need SO MUCH EXTRA FOOD?
Got suitable stocks of milk, custard and bananas now, anyway. |

| Had a nap yesterday afternoon. It turned into a mahusive sleep. When I woke up I thought it was this morning, and that I'd missed Have I Got News For You.
In other news, it's my mum's birthday today. Since they don't sell them in the shops, I'm making her a special badge: 'I'm 87, you know'. |

| Popped an antibiotic and a pain killer for my abscess under my wisdom tooth and it's gotta come out, does that mean I won't be as wise?
Finished wrapping a few more things that had to be wrapped. Off to the eldest daughters for dinner tomorrow, it's her first attempt at cooking the Christmas dinner and I'm looking forward to it.

| I paused for a moment yesterday as I glanced at my xmas dinner. Apart from the 'pigs in blankets', it was exactly the same as the roast I'd eaten a few days ago.
I feel cheated. |

| Set the alarm yesterday so my nap didn't overlap with the beginning of Shrek the Third. Only to discover, not only that I'd seen it before, but also that the DVD's quite clearly on the DVD shelf.
Wasn't that good, either. |

| The kitchen light stopped working, so I went to Homebase (nectar points, innit) and bought a new tube. Only it still doesn't work, so it must be the starter thing.
Will have to wait til tomorrow to do the washing up. |
