I'm sure it's De-Lar. He's in cahoots with a certain journo from that shitty rag. All he does is ring -up and ask his mate to silence the dissenters. The whole fecking shooting match is a closed shop. Argyle, Brent, Pasoti, the Herald and anyone in PCC planning department with wide enough pockets to fill it with £50 notes.

feckin sick of this shit. I tell you what, if this shite that looks like post-war East Berlin gets built. I'm done with all of this shite. You can stick everything up everyone's arse. Direct action NOW.

If you think you have a Complaint against the Herald in it deleting of the opposition view of this development you can e-mail the Press Complaints Commission WebSite.

Just had a quick look at the piccies.

Will the AFT have a booth there?

They could sell advice on stadia design.

I've just put this on the Herald article. Let's see if it stays....

What an abomination this whole development is...... And the fact that dissenters are being 'silenced' by forums such as this is not professional and surely flouts some kind of professional code. The biased reporting is not something to be proud of. In fact it's not reporting - it's a publicity machine. Time to take this whole debacle to Private Eye in my opinion. Let's make it national the whole mess that this thing has become and the orchestration of a 'all the people are happy with HHP' view on the world.

People are not happy. And the opposition to Planning will be forthcoming. Make no mistake!”

It's still there along with plenty of other comments slating brent's abomination

I think it can be safely said that he did himself no favours with that comment judging by the reactions. Thick, baldy yokel cnut.

Considering that the WG plan is so superior to the Akkeron model on so many levels, what a good idea.

It just looks shite.

A grandstand is supposed to be an intimidating, standout focal point of the ground for visitors.

Most people won't even know it's the grandstand looking at it.

I note on the applications there is one for a reptile survey, if you look in the directors box on match days, you will definitely find a big snake slithering about. Razz cheers

The whole thread seemed to be going on in a resonable fashion then IJN has to just snipe at the AFT - it was disgraceful, and then some other tosser says he can say what he wants cos he owns it!! Forget the lizard hunt on CP - they need a rat catcher up there!! Crying or Very sad

So don't fall into the same trap on here. IJN has played that thread and it should be split like his last hijack

Keep to the facts . They cannot defend the access road(s) abomination and the safety aspects of the entrance to morlock concourse at BPE being between stairs to the mall and a ramp to the away fans and car park entrance. If the employed PCC planning authorities and highways agency get a clear run to comment it will be stopped in it's tracks.

Everything else is subjective.

Indeed. It would be useful if someone qualified could summarise the faults in this project from a strictly planning point of view for us non-engineering types. Graham? Smile

We are collating an email data base to quickly get information out to those interested in helping stop the roads and a hotel being built on the leasehold land. If you are up for this please email us on the email address above. Thanks.

Don't think Brent has read this: (taken from the history link of the friendsofcentralpark site) not really sure how a seven story hotel fits into the aims below.
"In June 1925 it was announced that the City was to purchase 201 acres of land from Lord St Levan. By 1929, the Park comprised 241 acres all sold on the basis that it was to form a place of recreation, free from any development … Home Park, the ground used by the Argyle Athletic Club, predecessor of Plymouth Argyle Football Club, had existed since 1901

Friends of Central Park have been drumming up opposition from around Stoke and Milehouse to the plans. Long way to go yet before HHP is defaced by brent village and the ministand.

I think it's obvious the AFT have to get together with the FOCP, and see if they can find common ground to forge a united front!

Realistically they have to... It's the only chance they have for either of them!
