and who is interested in seeing a dance act if argyle are losing 3-0 at home it wont last long its a certain. It may work at other clubs but that doesnt mean chris webb can steal every little idea and pass it off as a "football first"

I don't know which is more depressing: the dawning recognition that in terms of "match day experience" this lot are as clueless as the last mob (and probably wholeheatedly endorse the FA rebranding football as 'content'); or the knowledge that if we are doing that we're approximately 15 years behind the times for what constitutes that sort of match day experience.

Either way, good grief.

Contrast that to Pompey's latest campaign. A ST campaign with "don't let your kids grow up thinking that football is a tv show" on it. Simple but genius. They know their brand, they know what football fans want and they know that if they reach out to them they will come back.

We're reaching out to the family who will consume the leisure content on offer at HHP and might on a good day bung some money in with a special offer to come and watch Argyle. It's a ridiculous strategy.

"Dad, can we go to watch the new Pixar film please? And can we go to Nandos first?"

"Yes. And as a special treat I'm going to spend an extra £50 on Argyle v Boston United"

"Nah. It's OK. We're off to drink Bucky down the bus shelter."

The best match day experience can only be if the football on the pitch is entertaining and the fans are behind it. No amount of New York Jets cheerleaders or fv1886 knobbers will improve on that ever. The better the football and atmosphere the more people will cough up to come watch it this is why i find it hard to believe james brent when he talks about ambition yet palming off a small stand that can never be altered on us the two cancel each other out.

It's just a posting - but there are others like it too....hey maybe when I was 16 I would have said something similar but the Club is just asking for trouble.

More complete and utter nonsense from what used to be a decent football club, respected by the football world.

Now, a laughing stock.
