Is that a futuristic quote from Moyes in 12 months time? |

| I read yesterday about Ferguson when manager of St Mirren was fuming during a pre-season game abroad where his young strikers were getting lumps kicked out of them by a big defender and the referee did nothing about it so he borrowed some boots and went on as a substitute.
The first chance he got he absolutely clattered the big bully centre-back leaving him in agony on the floor. He got sent off but had made his point and no more big brute of a defender on the pitch harming his players.
He'll be sorely missed. |

| I think any true football fan has to be a fan of old beetroot face, yes we all hate Man. Utd. as they have to be the focus point for all that is wrong with the capilist bollocks that is top tier footy in this country now, but his record speaks for itself. As for Greenskins quip I did larf, but the revolving door has not been the way at Old Trafford, be interesting to see whether Moyes does last. |

I dont see Moyes lasting as long as Fergie or matching his success but do hope the Man Utd fans are paitent with him and dont expect miracles to happen straight away he will need time as the job he has is mammoth. The whole club is setup in Fegie's image and football philosophy so Moyes is going to have to phase that out to input his own so it maybe a case of UTD taking two steps back to go 4 forward. |

Who will be the first United to player to say to Moyes "That's not how we did it under Sir Alex" I can see a few of them not wanting to do anything differently to how they're used to doing it. |

I can see a few of them not wanting to do anything differently to how they're used to doing it. i can answer that right now Wayne Rooney he wants out and pretty much would stem from David Moyes being named manager as he accused him of all sorts in his book that moyes sued him over. But the there will be more im sure. |

But the there will be more im sure. I read somewhere that they had kissed and made up now, after Rooney paid a small fortune I can't honestly see too many clubs wanting Rooney nowadays so he'll stay to the end of his contract. |

I think give his level of fitness Italy would be a good move for him. |
