| Thanks. All I contributed was the idea, some of the tracing and cutting out, all the materials and the inclusion of the polar bear and the elephant.
So, just supervisory and cleaning up. |

Should be good. |

Still. Massive collage of a flower garden was eventually completed, and I got to have my nap. Still haven't found the missing crayons, and as for the carpet ... at least two vacuum thingies full, I'd estimate. Do 5-year-old say some funny things We were on Paignton beach on Monday when I asked my Grandson what description he would give to the police if we missed place his nanny, She old, fat, shabby with a fat wet bottom |

| Made a resolution to stop looking for those two missing crayons. The only way they're going to be found is by accident ... like when I step on one, fall over and knock myself out on a handy piece of furniture. Or maybe a wall. |

Just.. chalk.. it up to experience Peggy*.....or stop.. drawing.. conclusions.......you'll be wiser in hindsight when you're waiting your turn in Casualty. |

Maybe one of the small people has eaten the crayons? |

| The crayons are probably up the small people's noses. They do get curious about things like seeing how many peas fit in their ears or if the Virgin remote will fit through the letter box.
If this is the case then to avoid an embarrassing trip to Casualty, trying in nicely with Knecht's post to which the answer is yes unfortunately, you could try using a hoover attachment to remove it at home. |

| Enjoy the crayons etc while they last.
Soon be maths problems taught in a fashion completely alien to anyone over 25.
Still, "Offspring I : The Trial Run" has an architectural challenge to complete identifying buildings and their history around Stoke and Devonport before new term. Gives me a reason to check out Plymouth's secret. |

| Aargh - I had a leaflet all about the history of loads of buildings in the old DRC area, but if I've still got it I haven't a clue where it is. And anyway, I've got other stuff to find.
Lawnmower: it had occurred that one of them had put them in her pocket, but I patted them down and they were clean. Given the quantities of food they get through, though, I don't think they'd have had time or capacity to eat them.
And now for a major confession, which ties in with no less than two of today's themes of mundanity. In my entire life thus far, I've only once had to go to A&E ... aged about four, with a bead stuck up my nose. |

| Jock is right, I have been to casualty to have a pyjama button removed from my nose and a pencil rubber from my ear, that one required a general, of late my wife has lost several eyeliners but I am hoping that nature will take its course on that one. |

| Ah. Just realised I haven't mentioned that they're chunky crayons. Not thin ones.
Sorry. |

| "Offspring II: The Unexpected" had told us a classmate had put a small stone in his ear over a year ago, which we dismissed as fanciful as wasn't bothering him.
It fell out last week. |

| I'd suggest a new thread - Ears and Noses: Things to put in them - but then there's always Jock to consider. Amongst others. |

| Late night update ... Having spent most of the day clearing up (had to empty the dyson thingy three times) and accidentally - I wasn't looking for crayons, honest - moving furniture, looking behind stuff etc,. I suddenly thought to look in the bag full of waste paper from the collage project. Tipped it all out on the kitchen floor, and found one crayon at the bottom.
A quick google of the brand of crayons confirms there are meant to be 24, not 25 as I'd thought. So there was only the one to find.
I can sleep easy now. |

| Just been to the station and uncovered another well-kept secret: the Devon and Cornwall (residents') Railcard. £10 a year: you get 33% off off-peak fares and so does a second adult of your choice, plus small people travel for a flat £1. So me and my old friend (well, she's the same age as me, obviously, since we went to school together: the 'old' bit means how long we've known each other, which is very scary) are going to Penzance tomorrow, to do the walk to Marazion, for £6.25 return each.
Meanwhile, I remembered this morning that when I took my old mum to her hospital appointment the other day I saw the air ambulance take off. Sometimes we get so tied up in mundanity we forget all about the interesting things, I find. |

| I was in an air ambulance that landed at Derriford over 2 years ago. I waved to my mum as we passed over her house but she didn't wave back. |
