not defending beer throwing highwayman,,just making a point,which is,,you could see this in any pub in the land,,,its the way its being talked about that makes I larf,,,it makes me wonder if anyone one here goes to pubs or football grounds come to that? in my time ive seen puches thrown by yellow coats ive seen 500 a side fights(70s),,ive seen people so drunk they cant stand,heard every swear word ever invented,,puke blood shite,,,old bill beating people up and the other way round and lots more I cant think of at the mo,,,,,,,,,the way this is being talked about on here you would think the devil had risen out the ground,,,,,if you all stop feeding jocks ocd it might calm down,,the question is do certain people on here want that?

A few years ago, at a home match where tensions were high due to matters on and off the field, Baba had some beer thrown over him.

Hardly 'assault' in my eyes. Then at the Exeter game due to people thinking he was Jock he had some verbals thrown at him.

Two relatively low key incidents over a span of a couple years seem to be getting blown out of proportion, in my opinion.

Throwing a drink over someone is actually classed as assault.

The unofficial PAFC website has been bought by possibly the worst kind of individual to do so. Ian Newell reserves his right to openly state that he doesn't think that Damon should be involved with the Trust, he states that he doesn't agree with the appointment of the democratically elected Trust leaders and does everything he can to put them down whenever he can. I reserve the right to object to Ian Newell being involved in the club or Pasoti because I think that via Deepthroat, The Newell files and all the other shit he gets involved in he has proved that he is not a fit and proper person. Run the auctions and other than that withdraw from Argyle politics or it will end in tears, I'm amazed that it hasnt already.

Of course, I am a delicate flower but in none of the pubs I currently use have I ever seen a pint thrown over anyone. The Tamar has its moments but it's certainly not a regular occurrence there. Anyway throwing a pint of beer away would be a criminal act.

And I've seen mass brawls at football grounds, been there when someone was stabbed, had police horses keeping fans apart, been on the receiving end of poor policing. But that was many years ago! The game is all the better for its disappearance. "Puke blood shite".... whatever turns you on.

I agree that to spread the accusation over a two year period ( ) is stretching a bit far but how often should threatening behaviour be acceptable before action is taken? I'd also say that to include Mr Newell in the activities perpetrated by his alleged delinquent son & friend is also stretching it a bit. However, the accusation is that shit always happens around Mr Newell and, like the club owner, he is at least to be damned by association if not actual involvement.

When shit happens in life you deal with it. Writing 1000's of emails doesn't help.

So should Roger forget about it? Next time he's at home park and Pete Desborough fancies another pop at him and threatens to break his feckin neck or midget Newell shouts across a sponsors table calling him all the names under the sun and is so pissed he thinks I'm there what should Roger and the Argyle sponsor do? You would stop going if you weren't allowed to drink before or during a game and these people are thinking about not attending games because they're being abused and threatened even though they're paying extra for the hospitality treatment. Only somehow I reckon you'd have plenty to say if the drink ban was introduced.

Even you must surely see that the Newell clan are out of order and something needs to be done about it. So if my emailing the relevant party, the hospitality manager at the club, isn't working what would you do?

I was talking about the footy jock?,,,but that aside,from what ive read on atd there was a fight in a pub under the stand?,,is that right?,,,there was also a fight in the swan which is about a 1000 yard from where I live but I wont be emailing the landlord demanding answers,,,,,youve turned into columbo,,

No Mike it happened in the hospitality lounge where someone had paid good money to have a group of friends wined and dined in comfort where they could watch the game away from the riff-raff. Unfortunately they let the riff-raff in if they raise money for a very rich man and drive him around.

We're not talking about a bunch of chavs kicking off in the cider bar or the swan and disturbing someone who's selling weed in there, putting them off going for a kebab later. This is someone who pays the club well for a bit of an experience, who also pays for advertising around the ground being set upon by the chavs.

Personally I hope they decide to stop using home park and withdraw the money they would have been paying again next season for advertising so the chimps can do whatever the feck they like from now on.

Let them spray each other with cava and tribute whether the away team chairman and his wife find it a touch boorish. Give the club a great reputation for when it has to rely on the income gained by the hospitality lounge and the club shop.

It'll be burger and chips in your tracksuit with arctic roll for afters. I'm sure bookings will go through the roof. Home park will be THE place to have your wedding do and Rick n Dave will provide the entertainment. What every janner burd has dreamed all her life.

If people want trouble Mike there are plenty of dives where it's commonplace and you won't have to chuck thousands of pounds into it to get a good ruck.

These people have done feck all wrong and are putting up with this shit? I'd write to Brent and tell him to shove his corporate packages and pitchside advertising where the sun doesn't shine, but you think it would be a bit of a laugh?
