If that has happened it would also effect their credit record?

Anytime a credit check is done on somebody it leaves a mark on their credit score and can affect it.

Then when some arse used my real name to register an account on here I knew it had only come from Pasoti.

I emailed demanding ALL of my personal info be deleted and surprise surprise I can no longer search for my old username on there.

So if somebody has used the info from that very database to pass on some personal information about "punchdrunk/village green" then a number of laws have been broken.

Amongst those laws it is illegal to perform a credit check search without permission from the person the check is being done on.

If that is how village's address became known someone better have a good lawyer of their own.

I've e-mailed the Pasoti mods to request they delete all of my details that they hold, but surprise surprise they're not replying to me Razz

That's fine but I will be taking it further this time because my guess is that Punchy used to have a Pasoti account and has given his real name at some point and Nikkk has asked a Pasoti mod, almost certainly Postey or Newell if he has illegaly saved personal information and is not a mod as he keeps saying, and the dickheads have mixed up Punchy as someone else, namely Village Green.

So VG gets mistaken for Punchdrunk, maybe PD had a similar username on Pasoti? This is still sinister if the details have come from Pasoti as they are clearly breaching the data protection act. If this is the case it could be good news for anyone who feels that Pasoti is a huge pile of steaming diahorrea because it will lead to them being investigated and hopefully closed down Very Happy

One of the biggest crimes they have committed is allowing Nool to take people's private details and store them on his own personal Flickr account, which is illegal.

Hopefully this will lead to him being castrated and his eyeballs being filled with molten lava, for starters that is.

I urge everyone who's personal details appeared in the Newell Files to contact these people with your concerns because there is no way that ex-Pasoti posters information is being used legally. The fact that several times accounts have been set up on here with ATD mods real names and e-mail addresses show you that the crooked fuckers are either retaining this info to cause trouble themselves, or they are passing the details onto a 3rd party.

The punishment for this ranges from being shut down and having audits to see what they are doing with the information on ex members, or a fine of up to £500,000, easily enough to cover Ian Newell's continued threat of sueing ATD for £75,000 and enough for a huge piss up cheers cheers cheers

Seriously though, I have already contacted these people earlier today and I would urge anyone else who's details are held by Pasoti or on Newell's Flickr account to do the same:

Village: seeing this solicitor has used dubious information to issue this letter, you might want to follow it up with the firm, and then with the Solicitors' Regulation Authority.

I can't post a link (yet), but it's sra dot org and there's a page called How do I make a complaint?

Oh bugger I'll have to tone down the swearing and sexist jokes again now Razz

Welcome back Peggy, this place is all the better for your presence, now we just need Penz to come back and the world will feel normal again.

As you've asked for your details to be deleted in Line with the data protection act they have to respond informing you they've done so.

I see that Posty Two Faced is suggesting that all pasoti users asking questions of James Brent do so using their real names. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST DOING THIS!

Been on the lash in Blackpool all weekend, so just back and ive read this thread all the way through and this is my take on it.
Firstly i despise money lenders and loan companies, always have done, and as an Argyle fan i take offence to having FES logos plastered all over the stadium and in my opinion nothing of what i said was illegal, if i disapprove of the club being associated with money lenders thats my bag and im perfectly within my rights to say so regardless of what they think over in Pyongyang.
I am not here to win any popularity contest, but I am here to speak my mind and to share my views on those who have coseyed up to the current odious regime, if Nickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk thinks he can silence opinion just like his sidekicks try to then tough. Everytime someone upsets the farm animals all we hear in return is the squeals about Lawyers/Legal etc...schoolground patter that
No apologies from me

I don't think you have anything to apologise for here PD. It's not your fault that some thick tw@t has given Nikkkk the wrong info.

There is something decidedly dodgy about all of this because there is no way that Nikkkkkkkkkkkk could possibly have found out your identity or Village Green's without it being by foul means. The fact that they have got the wrong person is unfortunate for VG as it really wasn't anything to do with him/her at all, but it still begs the question where did the name and address come from in the first place?

I'm still waiting for my letter which will get returned with my advice on what Nikkk and his solicitors can do with their poxy letter. If Nikkkkkkkkk doesn't like people saying that his firm charge an extraordinarily large APR on their secured loans then my advice would be to feckin lower your rate then ffs. It's not bloody rocket science is it?

Do you have a mortgage?

Are you a qualified legal expert?

The email/letter didn't come from "Pyonyang". It came from a serious solicitor. It was sent to the mods on here. It was also sent mistakenly to another poster on here - which was appalling and in my opinion worthy of a full apology. Whether that was a bluff or not, who knows, but the situation is that legal action was threatened at a level we have not previously received on this site (as far as I'm aware).

This site accepts a whole range of expressions of opinion but there is a line between 'robust' and 'illegal'. You and I are probably towards the opposing ends of the continuum. This site should encompass both extremes until the line of potential illegality is crossed.

Please be aware of and restrain your potentially libellous and damaging comments.

Before the cries of "knecht the pasoti poodle" inevitably come, every mod was in full agreement that the comment had to be removed.

Oh to be a fly on-the-wall in the Pasoti modroom right now. lol!

You can just picture it. The perpetrators sitting there with red-faces like a baboon's arse, whilst the other just look at the floor (aprt from De-Lar and Hooper holding hands under the table in a 'all PI's unite' moment) not daring to make eye contact, thinking WTF have we f*cked up now. lol!

Oh dear indeed.

It appears that Philip Ross Solicitors maybe getting more exposure than they might have wished for over this. Not sure how their bigger commercial clients might react to the fact that they appear to have sent a letter to entirely the wrong person using information which quite possibly was obtained illegally, hardly the sort of activity likely to instil confidence.

Only unscrupulous lenders would perform a credit check without permission. I am obviously not linking First European Securities with unscrupulous behaviour, because there is no proof they carried out the check. I say they but it only appears a very small operation with no assets.

Data is freely available and contained on the internet for reproduction. Make your own minds up. FES Limited are no longer authorised under the FSA (de-athorised in 2009) and the only one director listed is also de-authorised. This may be attributable to the lack of regulation placed on money lenders of last resort.

Anyway,I would expect a director of a Limited Company to use the same name for any other positions held at previous/existing companies, unless there was a reason for the change in spelling. it could be simply an error when registering on 3 separate occasions...however the name given changes slightly each time...as I say, probably a mere oversight and nothing to hide from the FSA. Maybe I am just being picky in this day and age of heavy regulation and financial prudence. Lets hope clear and auditable records are kept for all financial transactions linked to your Club...Yes I know, the auctions are legit and records have been kept and are available...they are, aren't they?

I've e-mailed the Pasoti mods again requesting my information be deleted and also that Newell deletes my info, as he has a huge amount of personal details illegally held on his Flickr account that is in the form of screenshots from the Pasoti modroom and he isn't a mod on there.

I've also sent a complaint about Pasoti and Newell to the ICO and copied them into the requests I have already sent to Pasoti.

I would urge anyone else who might be worried about Newell and Pasoti illegally holding and sharing their information, as we already know they do Very Happy

The solicitors might well have been told:

"Joe Bloggs has posted this on this website, could you send correspondence to them getting them to take it down".

and they've just acted on that, only instead of being punchdrunk Joe Bloggs is Village Green?

So it mightn't be the solicitors mistake at all. In fact, given the shoddyness of the work done...lets just say I'd tend to associate such dross with people closer to home.

It seems like FES use other people's money to pay out the loans so are nothing more than brokers themselves really. They also couldn't complete all of the loans they were promising back in 2009, and you can see by the comments that there were a few unhappy potential customers sat waiting for their money, or saying that the rates were high.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Looks like Philip Ross and FES are about as competent as each other and deserve to work closely with each other Very Happy
