I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Southampton last year when we went to Peppa Pig land.

The sole reason they don't want the Trust around Home Park is that they believe they 'saved' the club and now feel they have right to be 'the fans' given the red carpet treatment. Philanthropy often does come with major strings attached. If the Trust are around, there's more fans around in the hallowed halls and therefore the feeling of exclusivity is lessened. It's vanity and nothing more.

Sadly Hairy, there's a lot of truth in that. What the twerps don't realise is nobody else wants the trappings of being big fish in a tiny rancid pool, we just want a proper football team and a proper club would be a bonus.
