The memory must be an age thing Graham, yours is obviously better than mine. I could have sworn it was DT who announced it. Maybe DT made some other comment about it. I vaguely remember some sort of anti - trust comment. I seem to remember more than one anti / stirring comment from Deep Throat back then but who ever it was / is didn't merit more than a passing thought of "that person seems well informed". Tony Cholwell was our top pain in the ass then ( he won't change).

For the record, I wouldn't have thought it was you either.

I have been told by a reliable source that it is common knowledge in the real world that the unnamed deep throater is Chris Webb.

Even without this info my money would be on Webb. His friendship with Newell would mean he would have access to the deep throat account (and others), and the potential REAL world fall out would explain the Pasoti mods reticence to name him.

I just can't see it myself Frank, not PAFC's President, no way. Can you imagine the implications if it was!

And lo and behold ten minutes later Ian Newell confirms this on Pasoti...but he was only getting at Guilfoyle and Ian signed him in and didn't give him the password. Yeah right.
