| All sounds so innocent doesn't it? Oh I was playing around with some settings one day and stumbled across this facility of changing the name on a post, so anything could be posted and made to look like it was another poster.
As you do, I knew someone who had recently died who didn't close their account before they died, so I thought it would be hilarious to pretend to be the deceased poster cone back from the dead. Make a few silly jokes about ghosts and stuff with the other mods who were playing along with me.
We all chose a dead poster and pretended to be having a seance, it was hilarious but it was just between us mods so no harm done eh?
Probably toyed with the idea of sending a pm from the account to shit someone up, make them think it was a message from beyond the grave, lol.
All just a bit of fun until one of the mods having a bit of fun as well, got the hump and has decided to use it against me, he's held it over me for 18 months until this week when he told someone just to get me in trouble.
These people have lots of our information stored on us. The details we all gave when originally signing up to Pasoti, real name, email address etc. Luckily these nice mods wouldn't dream of using this information for anything dodgy or mischievous. They wouldn't give these details to anyone else, try and set up accounts elsewhere using our names or anything like that, they're fine, upstanding gentlemen who raise money for charity and only have Argyle's best interests at heart.
Meanwhile ATD mods and posters are horrible. Untrustworthy and out to cause trouble all the time.
Long live the good ship Pasoti, the open, transparent forum favoured by the club president, owner, players and generally all the good guys, unlike that nasty ATD site.
And we don't swear or condone paedophile jokes. If God was an Argyle fan he would use Pasoti. The devil would prefer ATD. |

| The plot thickens, it was .................. - Quote :
- The Doctor - PASOTI
Baba's explanation of how events might have unfolded seems totally sensible to me.
I think it is also pretty much common knowledge which ex-Mod had many screenshots of PASOTI and personal information in a Flickr account that was left publicly viewable (I won't name that ex-Mod because I don't think they are a PASOTI member anymore and so have no right to reply). I believe that the information held in that Flickr account was downloaded by some others who, from what I can see, have a long-running dislike of that ex-Mod and this site by association (or it may be the other way round).
It seems to be to be most likely that this information has appeared now because it was planted (indirectly) by one of those people in order to stir things up here and turn people against that ex-Mod.
I make no comment here about who I think is in the right/wrong - I don't feel I know enough about anything to have a clear opinion and even if I did I would probably keep it to myself rather than joining the battles."
Come on then, who was it that told Rapson? |

Hang on a minute ... First, I don't remember seeing this particular stuff on Flickr, and second, even if it was on there it was only a screenshot. Not information which could be downloaded and used in any other way. A couple of other things before my brain explodes: Those wondering why the other mods didn't react at the time should bear in mind that we're probably talking about a proven bully. If this person was bullying people outside of the mod room, who's to say there wasn't bullying going on inside it? From what I've read so far, one mod certainly was ... I know I've said it before, but we really should distinguish between pasoti mods and not just lump them all together - especially in light of my previous paragraph. Greenthing, for instance, is a genuinely nice bloke (in REAL life, not just online) who certainly wouldn't stir trouble. And finally. When I stood down as a mod over there, not only were my 'privileges' wiped, but passwords were changed to ensure I couldn't get access to, for instance, the pasoti email account. I know this was done because I checked. Although that's a long time ago, I doubt it wouldn't be the case now - we do it on here, and it must be pretty much standard procedure. |

| I'm disappointed in the Doctor. Previously he has said he likes to keep life simple and, by extension, doesn't want to join in internet battles. He repeats that assertion in the above quote and yet, quite clearly, by the mere fact of putting forward a guess at the origin of the present information, he has joined in the battles. |

| The doctor usually says things along those lines. Oh I don't know what is true etc but always manages to have an opinion that sounds suspiciously like he can't believe anyone on Pasoti could be up to anything in the slightest bit out of line, and also manages to leave the viewers in no doubt that it there is another site to every story!
For someone with no idea of all the facts he doesn't let that matter when having his say.
Why not ask Leigh doctor? Ask him which ex Pasoti mod who has nothing to do with ATD revealed details of pretty strange behaviour by other Pasoti mods, who also have no dealings with ATD?
You probably won't like the truth when you hear it but it might make you realise what these people can get upto. |

| I edit most of Jock's posts to make him look angry and to give his posts some substance. He's actually the most placid man in the world, and his one-liners would otherwise be legendary. |

Mummy's little soldier. Animal lover, not in the mucky Welsh way, volunteer Samaritan, Hospital radio DJ and all round good egg made to look like a psycho with tourettes, all for one ATD mods pleasure |

You bastard. I have wondered who does it. I have taken all the lengthy nonsense he writes and distill them to one-liners that are so funny that people of weak constitution would die laughing. |

| I long ago gave up listening to anything the good doctor says ... far too doffing and deferrential for me.... I really don't think there's been anyone in for a long time... he even thinks Plymouth needs more massive student housing blocks. |

| These are 2 screenshots that appeared next to each other on Newell's Flickr account. I saved them because they relate to me. This is the first one: And this is the second one: I didn't make the comments in the second picture. |

All the lights are on but there's no-one at home He's had a think about it now and again without the full facts he now thinks that it's probable that an ex-mod planted the information to get at a current mod Doctor, an ex-mod on Pasoti told Leigh Rapson what a current mod had done 18 months ago, which was to make posts under the name of a deceased former Pasoti user. How any of that is planted information on Pasoti is beyond me? Now there can't be too many ex-mods on Pasoti, who were mods more than 18 months ago, that bumped into Leigh Rapson on Saturday. Leigh says it's not Newell so how many others are there? And which of them is as devious and nasty as Newell is? |

| Before we get accused of tearing another innocent apart, I'm going to do a Knecht and point out that the Doc's also posted this: - The Doctor wrote:
- Or, it could have been planted by/for the ex-Mod to get at a current Mod. On reflection, this second suggestion seems just as, if not more, probable.
Also, while I'm on and in case anybody feels like pointing a finger, I wasn't even in Plymouth on Saturday. I can provide witnesses to confirm that I arrived at a house not far from Birmingham shortly after 2pm (which means that between midday and then I was bustling up the M5 in the bright sunshine, except for the bit round Bristol, where there was a huge rainstorm.) |

I didn't make the comments in the second picture. What a w@nker. Yet again Ian Newell is at the centre of something. Are you listening yet Brent? |

| But Leigh has posted this: - Quote :
- For what its worth, Im not going to name the ex mod that it was, its not who many of you assume it was, im not on his good list because i criticised him and someone else recently and it didn't go down well,
It seems to suggest that the ex-Mod in question was someone other than Newell. Likely? I'm not so sure. I can, however think of one other ex-Mod who fits the bill, but I'm not going to name that person because obviously I'm not certain. |

| Not all Ex-Pasoti Mods are stupid enough to keep their vast array of screenshots on a 'public' setting. |

Has the Doctor ever been a mod? - he seemed to know what to post before he read the thread. |

| In the spirit of fairness I must point out that Leigh told me it wasn't daz either.
I don't know any other ex mods but I'm sure there must be some.
So Newell and daz have been ruled out by Leigh, Peggy wasn't at the game and I think I can safely say I don't think for one minute that Peggy would do anything like that anyway, despite Chris Webb's view of her, so it's another ex Pasoti mod.
Could it be hayley or Roy cropper? Vera Duckworth? Tyrone fatdopeykid? Sally Webster? Len if I take my finger out you'll sink little girl fairclough?
The list is almost endless. |
