The pre season games tomorrow first stop at Tavistock. Anyone planning to go?

Personally id rather get a*seraped by a rampant catalonian bull but each to their own.

Yup, I'm going. Will be nice to see some of these players for the first time. Will also be interesting to see how and where Sheridan tries players out.

Hmm, I can't say I'm overly enthusiastic/optimistic of Argyle's future under Brent, but I'm back at me Mother's in Cornwall for the summer months and Tavi is only half hour away, so I fancy seeing what Sheridan's brought in. Heading back to Worcester in September to finish off my degree. Anyone know of any short term work going in the North Cornwall/Devon area? Could really do with something/anything.

I can remember going there about 7 years ago when Warnock was Sheff Utd manager, I was out in Tavvy that day and decided to watch them get thumped by Sheff Utd.
About a thousand folk there which is probably their biggest income all season.

I think Tavvy were relegated from what was the South Western league last season for the first time in their history.Before the pyramid system was brought in,it was difficult to get out of the SW from the bottom end,you had to be not re-elected but they've always had a decent side in the new system,don't know what happened last year or how strong they are now.Their club burned down a few years ago,maybe the effect of losing a lot of income in that time told in the end-money talks even at that level.

Oh I would, big club n all, but I'm not interested in relocating to Plymouth. I'm holding out for a nice place like Rochdale to offer me a job.

I was in tavvy yesterday (nice pasty) so I do not do tavvy twice in a week.

They won't turn anybody away I can assure you, a mate of mine works part time for Tavvy and this is their cup final and as said above a big income stream for them for the season.
Bleddy shame about the club house burNing down but it has been re built. It's always a good laugh down there I may even turn out for this one.
Ps. Warnock has always taken all his teams to Tavvy as rule for a friendly, He always used to take half the gate money!

All the women in my house are up on the Hoe tonight for MTV Crashes, so I was thinking about heading out to Tavvy.
