I have to say..... Some of your Xmas avatars have been fantastic, but I don't think anything has come close to a picture of Pilgrim Pete and Santa together! I am sure... Like all good Argyle fans, you will be hanging it above your fireplace for Santa to sign!

Three points off Exeter for Christmas, please Santa!

A few empty seats behind Santa. I recks the photo must have been taken pretty much as soon as the gates opened and there are hundreds, if not thousands, still in the fansfest.

Shame because they're all missing Santa!

Another first in football.

No doubt the one in green will be fine but I would definitely be worried about the one in red and white Wink

Was she a true bona fide Argyle receptionist?

Mightily impressive if that's the case.

Greentings and a Happy New Year to all ATD’rs

I am privileged to bring you more great news from the club we all adore!

“As you no doubt will be aware we have appointed a new Manager for our Green Army!
I am sure you are as excited as everyone here to welcome him to Home Park and support him . . . . .
We know times are hard, especially after Christmas, so with this in mind and to welcome our new Manager we have created a Sheridan 3 for 2 special.

I have attached a poster for your information.

Spread the word and keep it green!”

ARGYLE have launched a ‘Sheridan Special’ ticket for the Green Army to welcome their new manager.

The Pilgrims are offering fans a 33% discount deal to cover John Sheridan's first three home matches in charge of the Pilgrims.

The Sheridan Special ticket allows supporters to attend all three games, but pay for just two.

Admission to the games – against Morecambe this Saturday; Accrington Stanley on January 26; and Dagenham & Redbridge on February 2 – would normally cost an adult a total of £60.

A Sheridan Special ticket reduces that cost to only £40, and there are corresponding 33% discounts for concessions (£30 down from £45); Under-18s (£14 down from £21); and on a Family Ticket (£50 down from £75).

A club representative said: "We know that times are a little tight for everyone after Christmas, but we also know that the Green Army wants to mobilise behind John Sheridan and the team. We hope that this initiative will help them out a little and enable them to remind John what an incredible force our fans can be."

As John has already said, "our fans can play a vital part in our fight to stay in the Football League."

SHERIDAN SPECIAL TICKET PRICES:

Adult: £40 (from 60)

Over 65: £30 (from £45)

Student: £30 (from £45)

Under 18: £14 (from £21)

Family Ticket*: £50 (from £75)
*1 Adult and 1 Under 18

Anyone who has already purchased a ticket for any of the three games and would like to upgrade to a Sheridan Special should contact the Home Park Ticket Office (0845 872 3335; [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]).

The Sheridan Special offer is available up to kick-off of Argyle’s home game against Morecambe on Saturday, January 12.

There you go ATD'rs... Barely into 2013 and Christmas has come already this year!

I'd seen the posters, but just assumed it was 3 people for the price of 2 for the Morecambe match.

I'll be taking up this offer! Throwing less than £13.50 away to watch a bunch of losers isn't nearly as heartbreaking than throwing away £20.

Many thanks Ambassador !

Mr Ambassador sir,

Is this a scheme to raise some much needed cash quickly, or a real attempt to entice more fans through the turnstiles for 3 pretty unattractive games?

Worrying if we need the cash quickly, but a good idea to boost attendances.

P.S. Is the Club President not well? Haven't seen or heard from him in a while and I was wondering if there were going to be any more firsts in football this season? Also been missing his Presidents Progress lately, only had the one since the end of October, and the last one encouraged the fans to sing up for the lads and since that plea we haven't exactly done very well.

I was wondering if we could have a silent Presidents Progress urging the crowd to be really, really quiet from now on which might make all the difference.

I have lots of other ideas which I would be only too happy to share with you as long as you don't take all the credit for them.

Many thanks
