Plymouth Argyle defender Brendan Galloway selected in Zimbabwe squad
Plymouth Argyle defender Brendan Galloway has surprisingly been named in a provisional 28-strong Zimbabwe squad for their first two 2026 World Cup qualifying games.
The 27-year-old has not played for Argyle since April due to a long-term hamstring injury, although manager Steven Schumacher stated last week that Galloway was close to returning to full training.
Galloway was born in the Zimbabwean capital of Harare but moved to the UK with his family at a young age and represented England at various age groups up to under-21
