Mr Ambassador sir,

Is this a scheme to raise some much needed cash quickly, or a real attempt to entice more fans through the turnstiles for 3 pretty unattractive games?

Worrying if we need the cash quickly, but a good idea to boost attendances.

P.S. Is the Club President not well? Haven't seen or heard from him in a while and I was wondering if there were going to be any more firsts in football this season? Also been missing his Presidents Progress lately, only had the one since the end of October, and the last one encouraged the fans to sing up for the lads and since that plea we haven't exactly done very well.

I was wondering if we could have a silent Presidents Progress urging the crowd to be really, really quiet from now on which might make all the difference.

I have lots of other ideas which I would be only too happy to share with you as long as you don't take all the credit for them.

Many thanks

The Ambassador is sleeping just now. It takes a lot out of one, don't you know ?

The President is quiet because Harry told him to fink before he speaks. He tried getting his Windsor Boy chum to speak for him but he suffers from the same fing.

Greentings Fellow ATD’rs..

In what is now becoming a PAFC ‘Ambassador’ tradition... I am proud to be able to give you the new fixture list a few days after the first match has been completed!

Not to worry... I am sure you were all there anyway!!!

The club has sent additional info in this dispatch which I have tagged onto the end – It’s the type of info that the typical super fan we get posting on this site will already know, but for lesser mortals who might live on a farm somewhere, it will come in useful!

COYG!

Now the January transfer window has closed you may be aware that we have some fresh faces here at Home Park as well as a few players departing the Club.

So I hope you are as eager as us to welcome:

Guy Branston

Who has been playing for fourteen years, played more than 400 games, 22 goals, and a British record 21 transfers – permanent and loan. .

He has played for (deep breath) Rushden & Diamonds, Lincoln City, Rotherham United, Wycombe Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham Athletic, Peterborough United, Rochdale, Northampton Town, Notts County, Kettering Town, Burton Albion, Torquay United and Bradford City.

During his time, he has won promotion five times; been named captain of many of the clubs he has played for; won player of the season awards; and has been elected by his fellow pros into the PFA divisional team of the year.

Anthony Charles

London-born Anthony, 31, began his career in non-league with then Spartan South Midlands League side Brookhouse, now know as Hayes.

However, his talent as a young man did not go unnoticed and in 2000, Dario Gradi picked him up for Crewe Alexandra.

He picked up another Conference winners’ medal along the way to making more than 150 appearances for the Shots before leaving for Northampton Town in March.

Ronan Murray

The 21-year-old striker made a scoring debut in Devon - against Exeter - and has also enjoyed a loan spell in the West Country at Torquay United.

Ronan - who has been nicknamed 'Rooney' at Ipswich because of a similar style to the Manchester United man - played seven games for the Gulls, scoring what turned out to be the winner against Cheltenham, before returning to Portman Road.

He scored four times during Paolo Di Canio's side's march to the title, playing 20 games, including in Town's 1-0 victory at Home Park.

Internationally, he represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-16, Under-18 and Under-19 levels before making his sole Under-21 appearance in March 2011.

Gozie Ugwu

Gozie played the first half of the season for League 1 Yeovil on loan from his parent club Reading, making 17 appearances and scoring three goals.

Gozie spent the second half of last season on loan to Conference National side Ebbsfleet United for who he scored four goals in nine games.

Following that, the Oxford-born product of the Royals’ academy player signed a new two-year deal with Reading.

The 19-year-old six-footer has joined us on a youth loan.

The loan is for one month initially, taking in the Pilgrims’ League 2 games up to and including the home match with Oxford United on February 16.

Jason Banton

Jason will be available up to, and including, our npower League 2 clash with Barnet on Saturday, March 2. He will wear the number 19 shirt.

Having began his career as a schoolboy with Tottenham Hotspur, London-born Jason had spells with both Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers as a youngster before signing professional terms with Liverpool in January 2011.

A month on loan at Burton Albion followed before a spell in the United States, training with MLS club the Seattle Sounders.

The promising youngster has also gained international honours and is the proud owner of four England under-17 caps.

The Club has said Goodbye to Joe Lennox, Rhys Griffiths and Robbie Williams, thanks them for their contribution to the Greens and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours

Keep it Green!

A cut and Prez job....

Greentings ATDr’s....

News from the club!

As usual... In true Argyle Tradition... “A day late and a dollar short” as those in the colonies like to say....

I expect it is due to the troops being diverted to deal with those purported pesky AFT perpetrators!

But the Argyle receptionist who seems to run this programme battled on and delivered the latest missive!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Not a lot of detail there, so I would check in at: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Now...

Just think.. For seventeen quid you could turn up to BigForBarnet at Home Park in full Argyle strip to cheer the Pilgrims on!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

...a great two for one deal if you then get your girlie to wear it later that night as you celebrate an important Argyle win!

You know you'd like to....

You can. Visit the superstore!

Come on you Greens!

Greentings Atd’rs...

As you have no doubt read... A few ‘insurgents’ have spread nasty rumours, and have tried to cause discontent over the new Home Park development plans..
But just like the good old days, the club launched the PASB ‘gunboat’, dispatched it to the Theatre Royal and quelled the restless natives.

Meanwhile on the pitch... A little setback, but nothing to worry about.

The club again has a missive for you all --

“As you may be aware, there are a lot of exciting developments planned for Home Park.

For the Stadium

. A new South Grandstand with additional seating capacity
. Enhanced sports facilities for Home Park, which will then host county and schools football league matches
. Improved youth and community facilities including classrooms and office space
. Improved hospitality facilities for fans and visitors
. The creation of a memorial garden
. Additional income generated enabling the club to fund its progression back up the leagues

We have started the process and I hope you are as excited as we are about the new stand and what is going to be available for the fans as well as the staff and players.

There are also going to be many new developments surrounding Home Park.

A first class ice arena unmatched by any other facility within 150 miles of Plymouth, and a real ambition to become an ice ‘centre of excellence’. With the potential to hold international figure skating and ice hockey matches.

One of the largest cinemas in the South West region with 10 screens, an IMAX and a seating capacity for just under 1,900 to enjoy the latest movies including premier launches

Significant park landscape enhancements including creation of new tree lined routes.

Statement ‘gateways’ to the park improving the sense of arrival to this special green space.

Green technologies and renewable energy within the building design contributing to the city carbon reduction targets.

Keep it Green!”

I look forward to the day when Dartmoor and the other National Parks get statement gateways. Maybe the Hoe can get a statement gateway. Why stop there? I'm sure the Amazon getting a statement gateway would draw more visitors.

I can just picture it now..... "Daddy, mummy can we go to the beach? But only one that has a statement gateway!"

Lets just hope that when the new stand is built and isn't to the liking of anyone other than the usual throbbers, that the cinema and icerink aren't sooooo state of the art and awesome that they have a massive negative effect on attendances!

Now that would be the ultimate kick in the teeth.

"A new South stand with additional capacity", is that the tack they are taking with this? Making the stand bigger than the existing, obviously the Mayflower doesn't count in the original capacity as it is ground level and not a stand? scratch
Does anybody know the capacity of the current stand with the Mayflower?
To me this is obviously the crux of the matter, we will lose capacity because we have a load of shops where the Mayflower is now.

I see Nickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk is now paying for the away travel to Burton

If he has that much cash to throw around then why does he not foot the bill for the extra seats needed to get the mini-stand into something we all want.
On a side note i wonder how long this thread will stay up

Ian Ian do something about it they're saying my loans are linked to scams Razz

Great gesture by Nikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk to pay for the coaches, I have to take my hat off to him, but just do it without all the fanfare and then some people won't think you're such a throbber as Newell who always publicises anything good he does. Why not just say to someone at the club that you are prepared to pay X amount towards travel costs and work out how many coaches that will pay for. Then get the club to publicise the free coach travel without mentioning where the gesture has come from scratch

Otherwise you just look like a dick with a few quid who wants to show off with it.

Oh and if it were done like I said then anybody who doesn't subscribe to the theory that Ian Newell and James Brent's ringpieces taste of honey might want to go. As it is this "kind gesture" is just for Pasoti users who already worship at the statues of Webb, Newell and Brent.

That would be a great gesture and not like someone wearing a flashing neon sign saying "Look at me, look at me"

And it's not a jealousy thing either. It's a loan company boss who make their money from higher than banks interest rates being made out to be a wonderfully generous man, when in all honesty it's almost certainly wiped off as an advertising expense. Also the company that Nikkkk keeps it's questionable to say the least so I would have to assume that it's a case of birds of a feather. At least this will give the lot of them the ideal opportunity to take suggestions from the minnions on the coach for future dubious behaviour. Postey will be there drooling over the mere sight of Nikkkkkkkkk offering to start another anonymous account to threaten women and if Jameson goes with the crew he will be offering to Deepthroat all over again. And the grinning chimp Webb will be guffawing as he finds another username to post his usual shit.

With the news that Nikkkkkkkkkk is going to be the club sponsor next season, and his company splitting into FIL and FES, now to be known as First Lending International European Securities, there is the distinct possibilty that Webb, Newell, Postey and the rest of the crew will be sporting sponsored polo shirts with the logo FLIES on it, which is quite apt really when you consider what a bunch of shits they are cheers

Something was in the programme about it FIL or Fes or whatever increasing their sponsorship. That's the commercial department of Argyle these days, coming up with new schemes to get nikk to throw money about.

The Avivas over on the farm are clearly orgasmic over the money lender at the moment, i wonder what power he will hold once Brenty boy gets his Ice rink, Cinema, food outlets...all built on land which used to belong to PAFC. Brent makes his millions leaving the small time millionaire and his hanger on cronies to run the ship?
