Soccer legend Peter Shilton to open car park shortly
A NEW date has been set for football legend Peter Shilton to open a nearly-completed Cullompton town centre car park.
Goalkeeper Shilton will carry out the official unveiling of the Exeter Hill bays on Friday, November 16, at 3pm
Site owner Reg Payne, of Willand Old Village, who has been friends with England's most capped player for 30 years, said: "The date has changed because Peter is making an after-dinner speech in Taunton on November 16 and he wants to incorporate the two events.
"I'm now proposing to open the car park beforehand and do the official opening next month."
