So after a run of easy games, we have 6 of the top 10 in the next 7 games. Great win today, but coming into this run of games in 18th we shouldn't expect a charge up the table unless there is a dramatic turn around in form. I hop I'm wrong, but we've been facing the also-rans and whipping boys recently, we might be in for a reality check when we get some of the better teams.

I think it's safe to say our points tally won't have increased much by the time we play Bradford. By bye clueless!

If this plays out the way your predictions usually do, I imagine we'll be unbeaten for the next four weeks.

We should realistically aim to take 15 points out 21 from these games.

I would think it was a case of wanting 21 out of 21 although that is unlikely. I've never heard any football club who goes into any match expecting not to win it whoever the opposition are. Look at the results today as a prime example. There were results there which were not that difficult to predict but there were also results that were a surprise. It is the same every Saturday and if it wasn't then there wouldn't be any Bookies taking bets.
The way Argyle's season has gone so far it would be no surprise either way results wise and it was the same last season. We were doomed we were saved and then doomed again in consecutive weeks. Consistency is the one thing we haven't managed so far and nobody has come to expect any supporters wise. I'm not predicting a sudden change in that and nor am I predicting Argyle to get 21, 20 or even 10 points. Fact is I just don't know anymore so will take it week on week and see how it goes. Hopefully not disappointingly.

Rochdale...Draw at best Cheltenham...Defeat...we never beat them and they are a better side...simple as Rotherham...Much better side then their League position suggests, they will have sorted their act out by the time they play us..no doubt about that. Burton.....vastly superior to last season...defeat. Gillingham....unstoppable force...defeat Fleetwood....se above Bradford....Draw
i reckon only 2 points from all of these...no doubt Fletcher the clueless will still be in a job at the end of it . But never mind ..as long as the Taverners have their jolly cliquey outings who gives a damn. Backwards and Downwards .

It looks tough on paper, however even though we are crap(?), we are 5 points off a playoff spot and 6 off a relegation place.
If we are that crap, it doesn't say much about the others (bar Gillingham, Port Vale and Barnet).
Our home form is the problem. If we could match our away form at home we'd be a point off the playoffs.
As for our manager, I have no strong opinions either way. Unless we have a dramatic slide into one of the relegation places, I don't see any justification in sacking him (at this time).
Anything can happen in this league, so no result in our next seven games will really surprise me.
For me, it's just a case of wait and see (and hope!).

I'd settle for 2 wins and a few draws.

Only if you think Steve Evans is the League 2 Jock Stein. If you think he's a corrupt, bullying cnut then it's no surprise.

12 Points out of 21 and I'm delighted. Less than 8 and its simply not good enough.
I happen to have conveniently booked myself in Bradford for a meeting to coincide with the game. Happen to be staying at the Holiday Inn as well so you never know I may be able to hang around reception like a saddo asking for autographs...
More like in town for 3pm for a few pre-match liveners and then an authentic curry after the game.

It doesn't me, they've got Steve Evans as manager. The master of failing to promote teams with huge budgets (but let's not repeat that debate again )

Regardless how crap fletch may or may not be I would take him to be in charge of our club over that snake for integrity reasons alone. Steve Evans should not be in football full stop.

Steve Evans is a disgusting man, but I consider him a good manager and it was a mistake he left Crawley.
Its football, and I would have him over fletcher.

I shall be amazed if a corner has been turned. Nothing has changed, bar a new full back... in fact the Purse/Blanchard/Wotton bonus seems to have worryingly died a death of late. Chadders and Feeney have been found out, so I suppose that's a good thing. What is needed to get the club out of the doldrums is a run of WINS, and I just don't get where that run is going to come from. Luck has been on our side, with two dodgy penalties, so that always helps, but we only seem able to take on below standard opposition.
I doubt relegation is an issue as you really do have to be hopeless to get dumped out of this league, but the next two home games need to be put away... we are talking Rochdale Cheltenham and Rotheram in the next three games, not West Ham and Sunderland.

Yeah Cobi. I see where you're coming from. The only thing that would undo your argument is if there were a group of people who had experienced first hand what Steve Evans was like....now where would I find such a group of people...?

Sadly not it seems. Evans is a scumbag of the highest order. And a shite manager too.

You are either on the wrong site with those thoughts or Wumming Sandford. Would be good though so lets all get excited shall we. Oh hang on that would make me a happy clapppy Aviva Village person with a silly hat and a flag or something along those lines. Better still lets not get excited then lest the pack decends.
