| Its cold today, but bright blue skies. Why is it that summer is warm and mainly overcast, but winter is cold but sunny? Our weather is fokked up! |

| Northerly and Easterly winds are generally the result of high pressure, as today resulting in colder drier air from continental Europe, Low pressure gives warmer, wetter westerly winds from the Atlantic.
yes it's fokked up. _______________________________________ COYG!

| Talking of cold, last Thursday the car was well iced up. I normally take the small people to school on foot, so we can mix a bit of exercise with the search for squirrels, the biggest slug in the world, dragon slime and - only lately, mind - frozen dog poo. However, since it was so cold, I offered them the option of going in the car, but warned them that we'd have to scrape it.
Bam! Never have they eaten their breakfast so quickly. Never have they got into their shoes and coats and gloves so quickly. Never have they been ready with their bookbags and packed lunches and PE bags so quickly.
Never has my car been completely de-iced in less time. And never have my neighbours been treated to the four year old singing Bob the Builder so loudly and so early. |

| I'm sure Mr Brent could find a voluntary role at the club for them like sweeping the chimneys or scraping the ice off the pitch. |

| I have caught the later train from home to work tonight as the family were having a birthday party for the dog (who's one today).
Our favoured birthday tradition has become a buffet in the lounge (eating in the lounge - oooooh) whilst watching a film.
In honour of one year old dog, we watched 'Lassie'.
During a particular emotional moment with all of the family hushed, Lassie was barking with great profundity at the 18th life-changing event of the hour. I (very skilfully) lip-synced 'Ive pooped in the utility room, please don't hit me with sticks' which, it is fair to say, was received very poorly.
I am now on my train, drinking cider (of course) & eating Twirl Bites - currently half price at the Kwop at a pound a bag.
My train now seems to have broken down at either Tiverton or Taunton (I wasn't paying attention) & it's cold & dark.
But hark! What's that noise?
It's a dog barking!
I think I can make out the word 'karma' in a 'sausages' sort of way.
Pour me. |
