| NYE in this country is usually shite and a bit cold. Take her to the canary islands, Cyprus etc and have some decent weather and a holiday.
Paris might be a giveaway about the proposal as I know of at least 3 mates who've proposed there. |

| Nobody celebrates New Year like the Scots, so Edinburgh would be my choice |

| Paris is unimaginative, and shows no real thought for your other half. Do you have somewhere special like where u had your first kiss or first date or something?. A proposal should be romantic and from your heart, not about the weather or what city you are in, but about you 2 as a couple.. just my thoughts. |

What's your budget Dane? If you think she's worth it, we stayed here in Sedona a few years ago, enroute through Arizona to the Grand Canyon, and eventually Vegas. http://www.matterhorninn.com/ A favourite spot amongst the Yanks for romantic getaways. Probably the most beautiful place I've ever been, too. I reckon you'd be guaranteed a blowie, no problem. Sedona Dane. 'Cos she's worth it. |

| He could always stay in Plymouth and visit a City Centre hostelry. I like to take my Mrs up The Tradesmans from time to time. |

| Why not try somewhere in Bath? Much cheaper to get to so you could afford somewhere nice to stay more easily and if she blows you out as opposed to off then you can soothe the emotional pain by going to see Argyle at Rovers the day after. |
