| Unforch Suffs you're liable to get your wish but with Brent still in charge. I reckon three more years minimum before Brent wants to go and by that time well be playing Torquay again. Most of our current players will be playing for Torquay. |

| It's sustainable decline, we need to not only decline in the vertical but the horizontal plane also.

| If we went bust brent would have to go. I'd take that and rebuilding in non-league to cleanse the foul stench of brent et al from the club |

Yeah, but who would build the ice rink? |

| All anyone needs to do is read the article today in the Erald on Brents vision and case for slow building financial sustainability for PAFC. He again espouses his love of the Chiefs model of financial stability but more telling repeats clearly his concerns about ever becoming a Championship club again under the current board set up and financial strategy. He has said this from day one, he will not commit himself to the wages and costs of another higher league and someone else will need to take it forward . Even though of course he and his poodle Starnes occasionally mention an ambition of aiming for Championship level. For once It is very clear from Brent exactly where he stands. So bottom line is years of mediocrity is in store based on further footballing austerity - he says it soo clearly he intends to just aim for staying around in L1 and 2. Just read the article today in the one and only Brentherald. That's it probably for me - let the idiots, sychophants and shysters have the club they want and deserve. THE BRENTMARE HAS A LONG WAY TO GO YET. |

Another mediocre round of business speak which will be lapped up by the sort of people who believe the fine gentleman saved us as an example of what an astute businessman he is. The club is going anywhere Ignoring the fact he has no intention of providing the manager anything other than the bare minimum in terms of budget. If the figure of £10 million he allegedly quoted in response to an enquiry regarding the sale of the club is correct and the rest of his businesses continue to fail. he is going nowhere |

Wrong he's going down with the Argyle. Wait until we are bottome of league 2 with crowds of 3 thousand dejected fans. Have GOS got any video they could send him to show the thick twat the future? Fook off Macauley, fook off Macauley.... My prediction is he is forced to go when the debts spiral again after a demotion another admin. period would not surprise me. |

Problem being if he did go he'd take the land next to the ground with him. OK so it wouldn't be much different to now but there would be no incentive at all to build something even vaguely sympathetic to the club's requirements. Not that he's likely to ever build anything but he might sell it to someone who would. |

Not that he's likely to ever build anything but he might sell it to someone who would. Not sure that sympathy has anything to do with it. The damage is already done, Brent may have to prune some offices from the icerink but something will get built there if not by Brent then by the long list of Heaneys, Buttivants, Stapletons, Ridsdales and Gardners, one and the same and none of them will give a fook about the club. |

Not that he's likely to ever build anything but he might sell it to someone who would. He'll probably sell to the person he sold the pavillions to, therefore also passing on the continuous ice agreement in the process and walking away with a very tasty profit for the HHP land he paid pennies for. |

My thoughts entirely, Yea. £5.5 million for the Pavilions, isn't it? In other news, I'm in negotiations with Poundland to get them to give me a couple of mill to keep (but not look after) my recent £1 purchase. Won't be selling it on (for several million, of course) for a few years yet, so it's only fair they pay me for the drawer space, innit. |

Wouldn’t it be helpful if he could get planning permission for an ice rink on that land, hopefully with someone else paying for it |
