| The best of those we had was a cosy self-catering cottage near to a good restaurant in very beautiful countryside. Hotels were too impersonal and not private enough.
But whatever turns the two of you on - so to speak - some people would get off in a B&B in the middle of Birmingham with a balti after a night at the flicks. |

| Romantic gestures don't have to cost anything do they? You don't have to go anywhere different. You just have to be attentive and romantic in yourself. Try having a conversation and listen to the answers for a change.

Don't ask her, just pop it in and see her reaction. You can always claim you got the wrong one if she slaps you. |

True. What about getting her to sign up to ATD, then maybe Jock or someone could start a thread called 'Proposals'. You could then do it there and then, in the presence of all those who still remarkably give you the time of day love and respect you the most...? Whaddya say? |
