| The Ricoh is well within Coventry - just off the Foleshill Road. |

| I thought I'd do that as it's not an argument that Peggy seems to want to get into and I personally don't think it's fair to start a possible argument. The OP in that thread is fairly confrontational. If they wanted to start an argument, there are more subtle ways. |

He is just asking isn't it about time it was discussed on Pasoti"
And it should be...

| It's been moved to Terraces with very few replies other than ZeeZan's saying it was crap anyway and she used to skip over it. About the only thing she's skipped over in years!
ZeeZan if you're going to lay the boot in at every opportunity, at least have a valid reason to and not just because you worship everything about Argyle, James Brent, Ian Newell etc. and someone being given the boot just because they post on here is a valid reason in your book?
Stop talking out of your ass ZZ. If it was a friend of yours who had written for the programme free of charge for years, and then was rendered surplus to to requirements and they were told it was because they posted on Pasoti, you would be fuming, up in arms, making placards, so if you haven't anything decent to say about Peggy, don't just jump on the bandwagon and act like Newell's campaign secretary.
What happened stinks whether you're a Pasoti poster or an ATD poster. A few may risk getting smacked down by the Gestapo and keep asking the question, it won't get answered and has already moved to Terraces.
It won't receive a reply from within the club, Peggy's already been told the reason she's no longer required, and has also said that she does not want it made public, so this one will be swept away with all the others in a few days, "Nothing to see here move along"
Postey might not even have to lock the thread this time, and I'm sure he would just as upset as everyone else is about all of this, and might even ask Peggy to continue her series by publishing it on Vital instead? |

Not really if Peggy doesn't want it discussed. Isn't it her own personal business? If the OP had explained a little of the background and then gave his/her opinion on it and then asked why it happened, it would have been less confrontational - but it shouldn't have been posted in the first place. |

Actually, Peggy doesn't get to decide what is discussed, even if it about her... In this sense she is a public figure. We will all soon know what has gone on here, because the 'Argyle Grapevine' can't help itself and has been talking, and it's been suggested that Newell and Webb are behind her being removed. For once... I can't say that Newell is... However... I have seen a text from Chris Webb gloating about removing Peggy from her duties. I believe this text was dated Jan 12th. Sorry Cerbera on Pasoti, You are wrong... This has been a long time coming!!! |

That's shocking behaviour. It's a rumour. Apparently Rickler has a photograph of a text he's seen where Chris Webb is bragging about Peggy being dropped from the programme - put up or shut up Rickler. Rumour mongering is rubbish. |

Quite right Oddy, you can either respect others peoples wishes or not, in this case I'll be respecting Peggy's wishes. |

Mr Hairy - I have just seen Peggys response on here and now understand a little better. But if you put yourself in the public domain you have to expect discussions occurring on public forums. I am not trying to be confrontational, just concerned, like many others, as to what is really going on at the club. If you cant discuss Argyle issues on an Argyle supporters forum I despair. I have never met Peggy but I do know that she is/was Argyle through and through, and now, for whatever reason(s), she isn't, and I find that disturbing as she is not the only one feeling that way. Now I have seen her statement I will completely respect her wishes, its a shame that statement isn't on Pasoti also so all Forum users can see it, but it certainly isnt down to Hairy J to tell me what I should or shouldnt be doing or saying regarding an Argyle issue. I dont know the background to this story, so yes I did want to "confront" the issue, and if the original posting made just a few people realise there is a whole load of carp going on at the moment then it did its job. |

| Why isn't this thread moved to Terraces like the Peggy one was? Good question, but I doubt you will get an answer. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

You can believe it's a "rumour" if you want to. I couldn't care less. As I explained before... The text isn't mine to "put up". It doesn't stop me commententing on it though. I haven't heard from Chris Webb or his lawyers yet.... Hell, he hasn't even got the balls to deny it. What's that tell you about it being a rumour? |

What do you call a man with a wooden head ? Edward. A man with three wooden heads ? Edward Woodward The olduns are the best. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Peggy and I have not seen eye to eye but I find her last couple of comments both revealing and very sad. For an articulate and loyal Argyle fan to feel the need to both keep her silence and walk away from the club she loves, speaks volumes to me about the depths the people now running the club will plumb for total control and compliance. Hang your heads in shame. PS talking of hanging heads in shame.................... Just looked at the Pasoti home page and their link to 'Argyle Talk' takes you to Cerbigaybeara's site. Don't suppose it will last though, cos he's just criticised Posty over Chancellor's moved thread concerning Peggy. |
