Newell's got away with that trick for years but now his time is up and everyone now knows the kind of thug that he really is.

He's trying to buy allegiances, that's how he operates but they don't last long because most people have a moral compass.

True Gob, but nevertheless nikkk becoming Newells new BFF is an allegiance that will see Newell doing his utmost to keep Argyle totally and utterly Village long after Brent has departed into the sunset.

This has been coming for years and years. The reluctant one recognised the ambition and has used it brilliantly to fill his boots.

Quite where Tenpole and chums fit in I'm still in the dark. Do they really want to terminally restrict the club and create a shabby concrete jungle around it in Central Park.

Where's the ambition ? They should have searched for a developer willing to do the job properly, even if it meant handing over Cottage Field.

An inspiring new grandstand for PAFC, with room for further expansion and an ice rink with enough capacity to support National League Ice Hockey and Basketball.

Instead we'll now get a pile of village crap, down dark, draughty alleyways. A chav's paradise.

So Plymouth. So parochial. So depressing.
