| The Chris Webb's latest ramblings mentions the possibility of an elected Mayor for Plymouth since there aren't any political heavyweights in the city. Now just who does he have in mind for this role - I reckon he really does think he could be Plymouth's own Boris. Sorry, can't do the link. |

| If Webb ran for office his opponents would have a field day highlighting his REAL life indiscretions, as well as highlighting his notoriously thin skin when it comes to any form of questioning or criticism of thechriswebb. |

| Back in the day a chum of my sister's (he was a left leaning CAB manager and had a great degree of "self confidence" ) became the first elected mayor of Stoke on Trent. I think it all ended in tears. |

| Plymouth needs a good council that works for the greater good of Plymouth and not just the needs of James Brent and the Uni. |

| The Webb's political career is over before he can even start it..
His dismal performance as Argyle President is proof of that. He no longer performs the duty but is unwilling to resign.
Nobody wants a "heavyweight politician" like that.
Webb is no sort of politician at all.. He's a wannabe hanger on. |

Which now leaves them with zero. You'd think the Herald would get the hint the column has little if any support whatsoever. How much manpower are they wasting on cleaning up after thewebb? |

| theChrisWebb, top football supporters consultant must be busy, if Hereford fans are ignoring him to prepare their own protests, while he is busy nominating himself for a political position over a hundred miles away that doesn't even exist. |

Chris could of course apply for the Lord Mayor's position if he likes?
I am sure the poor pay won't be an issue, or the limited political power, as he will be rewarded endlessly just through serving his people and giving back to the community.

| Plus I can think of one mayor - Boris Johnson or one person - Rupert Murdoch who sends shivers down the corridors of power in Westminster. |

I've noticed they have been doing it to any comments deemed unsuitable on that site. http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Sailors-bodies-exhumed-make-way-new-student-flats/story-23150329-detail/story.html this one has been cleaned many times. Any mention of the council or brent and his merry band of fools gets removed |
