Not quite and have never said that Freathy. I think Argyle maintaining their league status is reason to be happy. Given the start and all other things considered it wasn't a reason to be otherwise and as a supporter of the club why would I be otherwise when things looked lost more than once.

How many teams in Div 2 could have given the rest a nine game start...and not got relegated....not too many.

I don't really think people won't but it seems to be the statement used on most threads so I thought I'd take my turn and throw it in for a change.

Back to the euros- I see that Swiss corrupt, asshole Blatter is now saying goal line technology is a necessity. When Lampard 'scored' against Germany in the last WC and it wasn't given, Blatter said something along the lines of 'these things happen'.

You can't seriously be surprised at his U-turn and surely nobody takes anything he says seriously either. I fail to understand how the whole universe and beyond cannot find and print the dodgy organisation that is FIFA from top to bottom. You only have to look at Qatar being a venue for a world cup competition for a start. Having been in the Gulf you would find it blatantly obvious that it was just plain wrong simply in weather terms if nothing else. But the presents are really good.

Exactly what my golfing pal and i said today. As soon as i saw Blatter's smug, corpulent dial before the game in 2010 and then the commentator said "Uruguayan linesman",i thought Ey-oop,this could be interesting. The man is a prize arsehole and should be melted down for blubber without further ado.

He hates us because of the world cup fall out! There again I have always thought he and Platini hates us.

I remember being in Spain whilst Euro84 was going on, watching games and being mesmerised by the genius that was Platini. I loved players like him, Hoddle, Gascoigne etc. I even cheered in a bar full of Spaniards when he scored in the final - not the best idea I'd ever had, even as a spotty 15yr old.

It's because of those formative footballing years, and idolising him, that I find it gut-wrenching that Platini has turned out to be a cnut of the highest order.

At least Blatter can now finally see that goal-line technology is needed. Platini is dead against it.

What I wish for almost as much as an England win, is a nailed on, cast-iron french 'goal', that is not given, when clearly over the line. See what the tw@ says then.

I'm pretty sure Blatter and Platini have something against Scotland too. Have you noticed how Scotland never qualify for the finals of the Euros or the World Cup?

Definitely something dodgy going on with the scheming bastards.

I think it's because they called it a "Football" competition jock. That would be the reason I'm sure. Dastardly plan by them.

Yeah but have you noticed that country's like Norway and Slovenia and Denmark and FYR Macedonia and Lichenstein always finish above Scotland in the groups?

Definitely a fix.

Exfuckinzackly. We should have a head start in the group because of the extra revenue 15000 Jocks would bring to the country hosting the tournaments. Booze, fags, deep fried anything and skirts.

So Italy up next, should be interesting, we as always are better than the view of the general public and the press in Blighty, Italy are always viewed through the equivalent of football beer goggles, will that put us on a par? I think that firework boy will easily be kept off the score sheet by us, the question is will we have enough firepower to score? Personally I would keep Roo as an impact sub. as I think we offer much more diversity with the youngsters, playing to Roo makes us too predictable.
