| With Howard Webb reffing, Portugal will do well with his team-mate Nani and former colleague Ronaldo lining up. |

Have you got greasy black hair and never think about the rest of the team? Or are you poor and probably a Soviet spy who drinks Budweiser? |

| Who's co-commentating? Ronaldo just rose like a salmon in the box and whoever it is co-commentating said,
"He's got incredible spring - he's like an NFL Basketball player..."
Made me chuckle.

| Whoever they are also just said that "the midfield opened up like a flower"...how very poetic
These co commentators need to decide whether its Petr Cech or Petr Cech.....they are sitting next to each surely they can decide on one pronunciation |

| Ronaldo scored 79' header to probably put Portugal through. The game has been that bad I thought England were in white |

| I can't stand the tosser, but he is one helluva player. I just don't think the rest of the Portugese team is good enough to go all the way.
It reminds me of myself at Goonhavern U-13's all those years ago! |

| Portugals finishing was shocking. They create loads of chances and fluff them. 70-odd goal attempts in 4 games ain't bad tho' and Ronaldo's starting to look like he's right up for it. |

| Only one team tried to score so it is fitting that the Portugal team is in the next round. Think they would have to improve an awful lot though. Thought it was a boring game as well but the Webb did well as Ref. He is a lot better than a good few I've seen in this competition. That Scots bloke Jimmy MacWhistle was ok as well. |

Yeh but the prick obviously reads this site and thought "Woody wants me to get 2 goals, so I'll just bump it off the woodwork a couple of times to feck him up". |

| There's been some pretty crap football in this competition so far, hardly a match worth remembering. |

| Well, at the moment it is looking as inevitable as the outcome of the invasion of Crete. Where's David Niven when you need him... is he still up before the celestial beak asking for yet another favour to be sent back down to the mortal world ? David, the moon is certainly not a balloon for those earthlings that don't just pop out of an ever so nice school straight into Sandhurst, and then onto Hollywood as an ever so quaint chap. Come on Greece, you need to up your game, no point waiting for gentleman David to save you again, he's long gone. |
