Who will win? I can't see past Spain, to be honest. |

| Holland seem to be in good form (albeit a 6-0 win against Northern Ireland) and could have the top scorer in RVP. Eire have no feckin' chance.
At least you never picked England! |

| Holland have as good a chance as anyone. Knock out tournaments are always a bit of a lottery. RoI are as good as you were going to get from the 'Outsiders' group. You never know, both Denmark and Greece have won the tournament before! |

Have they not just gone 18 games unbeaten ? Eire are 80/1 to win the Euros. Only Greece are longer priced. I'd say 'no feckin chance', is a fair reflection on their chances... |

| From what I have seen of it so far, Holland, good strike force, not a complete team. Denmark, about the same as Holland, less up front bit better at the back. Spain, skill aplenty up front, more than a little lightweight at the back. Italy, good solid side, bit of quality balanced by madness. ROI, not all that. Croatia, could be one to watch. Germans, probably one of the best teams in it, Portugal look good as well. Ps. any football journalists wish to re-produce this material please give me some credit. |

| I see that a fair few Irish fans greeted the England team coach with boos and jeers when England arrived at their hotel in Poland. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Not content with that,Irish fans were then involved in a nasty brawl with Polish fans on the night/morning before the Ireland V Croatia game. 14 arrests were made in what police described as a major outbreak of disorder. | The French midfield and attack looks pretty frightening, with Diarra, Cabaye, Malouda, Ribery, Nasri and Benzema. Malouda is a bit hit and miss, but Cabaye looked awesome at times for Newcastle last season and if he and Ribery can supply Nasri and Benzema, it could be a long old night for England. My mate is over there, with Rob Purnell who some of you may know, and Rob's bags have not arrived with him in Donetsk apparently |

| Good result for England. France always looked the more likely winners, and the ref seemed to give them most of the 50/50 decisions. But that said, England looked dangerous on the break. Ribery is a sour-faced ponce. And most importantly, 3pts in the prediction league! |

| Definitely a better result for England than France. Wellbeck played ok but you can see how much they miss Rooney . France look good on the ball and will create more chances than England, but not a bad performance. I still think England will draw every game.

| I fancy Italy - when they are good they are very, very good. Unfortunately when they are bad they are awful!!

| Thought it was a decent enough performance, a lot less of the 'headless chicken' tactics than we normally get from England. Of course the real test is whether we can get a result when the onus is on us to attack. Thought France looked pretty mediocre, although that might just be 'cause we stifled them well. They never seemed to have anyone in the box, which makes defending deep pretty easy.

| France did have to rely on long range efforts I suppose, but Nasri and Ribery almost exposed England a couple of times. For me England don't have that one special player to create something, but the Sweden game should be interesting now as they really need to go for it, and England could catch them on the break.
Lose to Sweden though and it could be curtains. |

And most importantly, 3pts in the prediction league! Only 'cos you copied from my exam paper yer prick Actually I thought Engerlund did very well, if sitting a bit deep at times and some self belief and confidence will do us the world of good. Says he hopefully. |
