He has himself to blame for a lot of it, and after the Deep Throat fiasco I think alot of people regard him as a troll, but the intensity of attack from ATD is uncalled for and really does the site no credit at all.
It is worth remembering that while he has hoarded peoples personal data, it was not him who published it for the world to see. Someone has taken advantage if an oversite and put his entire personal account up online - I wonder if anyone will own up to that? If not there is a level of double standards going on. So why did he take a screenshot of Andy's PERSONAL facebok status which was not in the public domain?
Why did he have screenshots of Rickler's home address and pictures?
Why did he ask "SG" to hit an email address?
Why did he post screenshots of the emails between him and an Argyle employee trying to sabotage the ATD Q&A?
None of that is done as a "mod".
I await your reply but remove the Ian Newell arse licking glasses if you would and see exactly why a number of people are rightly pissed off with the man.
Dear Yea Let me go through your points one by one: 1 Indefensable 2 Indefensable 3 Surely illegal 4 Arrogant beyond believe Perhaps you could do me the honour of either quoting the section of my post that was ass licking or apologise for making things up? |

| Womble posts a perfectly reasonable few comments and he gets jumped on as if he suggested that Mr Newell was everything that is good and ATD is everything that is bad.
Isn't the response he received the sort of thing you decry on pasoti? |

| Womble's a staunch supporter and user of this site and deserves to be listened to. I just think he's wrong, there was certainly a degree of glee on here yesterday at the effect his own actions had had on him in the "what goes around, comes around" way. I don't think there was much in the way of nastiness displayed, certainly not to Amy, it was just trying to make her understand how this situation had come about. He's undoubtably Argyle through and through and done a lot of good things but there's a touch of Jekyll and Hyde that's his undoing. |

It's been replied to; "the reason for the thread closing is on the thread, don't ask such stupid questions you stupid boy." Postey. I might of paraphrased part of the reply. |

| I don't know a lot of the history either but I have to say it comes across as a never ending campaign on ATD. There is hardly ever a thread that does not include something about "The Farm" aka PASOTI, Newell or Webb and often a combination of more than one or all three. When trying to stick to a thread topic this is quite off putting and somewhat tiresome for those not involved in the war that seems to rage. The campaign is not onesided however and there are just as many references to this site on PASOTI which must piss off many on there who don't want to continually hear about the politics and fighting.
It isn't going to stop though is it as there are many who would not let the matter go even if they could. This thread for example was never intended to have people post good points about Newell. It was an opportunity for people to have another go at posting their grievances. This response is neither a for or against Newell before anyone wants to judge one way or the other it is simply my observations as an outsider to the history. |

You're right there is a lot of anti-pasoti talk on here but i'd argue that the majority, if not all of the posts, are on the away end board and not the main board for Argyle discussion. |

I agree but as I have said, to gain an understanding you must be aware of what issues have taken place. I do however believe that once this and 'one or two' more things are surfaced we may get a level off and get back to Argyle and football. |

You might be right, GOB, and that's one of the reasons I keep going (there are other reasons). But it does get tiring and annoying. When will it stop!? Strangely, the exposure of the flickrgate files and the subsequent response of the mods over there - in spite of it making pasoti/Newell feature even more than usual (and that's saying something) - has made this site even more attractive. One day it may be put away and, as you say, we can get back to Argyle & football. And, one day, there may be more connection between Argyle and football than the matches I have been able to see this season. |

If there's one thing worse than being a bad loser it's a bad winner. I'm not trying to make any point Knecht. I was just asking. I saw a post from you, starting a thread, asking why posty had locked the thread as soon as comments started to question Nool's activities ? ....and now I can't find it . |

| I understand that GOB but that assumes as an outsider to this that I want to know the histories and gain an understanding. The problem I have is that it is hard to avoid the war between the two whether you want to or not. At first it was "interesting" to a degree but now for me it is less so. The man is a twonk that much is obvious and he is petty and childish but I don't necessarily want to hear that said every day on almost every thread.
I know it won't stop the war of words and actions as I've said but I don't have to like it however justified others may think it is.

I hadn't started a thread. It was a question to Admin. They referred me back to the earlier reply and that took me to the explanation on the locked thread. But I also agree with Captain Sensible. It will be hard but I will try to post less about this current debacle - shitty as it is. PS I also agree with GOB - they're not contradictory. |
