Johnson should have invoked it immediately he came into office-the vote was for the UK to leave the EU and not a half arsed BRINO, negotiated by that useless piece of shit May and her remainer underlings, which hung Northern Ireland out to dry. It still doesn't seem to have sunk in with some that the vote in 2016 was not about economics but about sovereignty-the "it would be different now" mantra was common place among remainers in the period between 2016 and the last general election and it certainly didn't work out to be an accurate judgement, no reason to believe that it would be any different now.

Everything is about economics FFS. This meaningless 'sovereignty' means the UK is now a tiny irrelevant outpost with no influence off the NW of Europe. And still Bozo is threatening to make it a whole lot worse. The world has changed but brexiteers are stuck in dark and distant past. Anyway their numbers are receding. As the demographic changes and the useless tories are inevitably consigned to the garbage bin there will be growing desire in the country to re-join the EU. Times will change.

The claim that people don't support Brexit now is an out and out lie, we were told we needed another referendum and we had one in the last election which saw Labour voters abandoning their lifelong party in droves giving Johnson a landslide. Like it or not "the trolley" is the will of the people, and if Labour don't acknowledge that fact they will be consigned to history. I find it hilarious.

Here is what he is saying today,

Lord Frost was put in charge of the government's Brexit talks in June 2019 and after the UK left the EU, he continued leading negotiations with the bloc - specifically trying to resolve problems around the Northern Ireland border.

But on Saturday, he announced his resignation from the government, citing "concerns about the current direction of travel".

Speaking to reporters on Monday, the former diplomat said he and the prime minister had "never disagreed" on Brexit policy.

But he said he could not support other measures he was taking, "most recently on Covid restrictions and Plan B".

Lord Frost added: "I don't support coercive polices on Covid."

Last week, the government introduced a number of measures, including Covid passes - which require people to show proof of vaccination or a negative test before entering a large venue, such as a nightclub.

The measures were approved by Parliament with the support of Labour MPs, but 99 Conservatives voted against Mr Johnson's passport proposal - and many spoke strongly against it.

An unelected bureaucrat eh? Well, he ain't the first as Peter Mandelson entered arch-enemy Gordy Broon's cabinet on his departure from Brussels despite having to resign his cabinet post on two previous occasions of which the first was for failing to inform the Britannia Building Society that he solicited a loan from a fellow MP when applying for a mortgage - and then there was the time he lied about his intervention in obtaining UK passports for the Hinduga brothers when he put through an undisclosed call to Mike O'Brien, the immigration minister. The odd thing is despite having to touch a fellow MP for a loan he now lives in a £2.5 million Regency villa and is worth a cool £4.5m. A man of the people is our Peter.

Was Peter Mandelson involved in the fabulously successful negotiation by Frosty then?

I think we should be told, or is all you have left to celebrate, apart from two phone companies keeping roaming, a load of whataboutery. lol.

It's a moot point about roaming charges because we won't be able to drive to the EU as our driving licences will be invalid as well as our passports. Razz
