Assisted by Samuel Ogles and Michael Begley
Fourth Official Robert Dabbs
Ryan Lowe is still trying to sign a defender to replace Niall Canavan and we will not stand in the way of any Plymouth Argyle players who want to leave to get more game-time elsewhere. (Big Dom gone) He has the budget to be able to bring in a new recruit and Lowe said Lewis Macleod and Gaz Sawyer are not too long away and Adam Lewis will be back for Saturday

Heavy rain through out the night and more to come today, how will Argyle pitch stand up with the amount of water?

Confident of another win and wont be remotely surprised to see Hardie hit 1 or 2

To be 8th in the league with 4 or 5 games in hand on some teams around them, is eyebrow-raisingly impressive.
They score freely but also do concede so every chance there’ll be goals in this one.

VERY tough one. They are clearly a very good team and definite promotion contenders, even autos. Cooper will have his work cut out today.

There is going to ba a massive backlog come the end of the season it will be interesting seeing them play out after the season has finished. Going back to the top of the thread it's a shame Sawyer isn't fit enough to get rid of. Looking forward to Lowe clearing out all the shite he's signed.

A very good footballing side, difficult game, would take a point now.

Agree with that. How do they even survive let alone be higher than argo is a testemant to how well they are run.

There'll be a waterlogged pitch if this rain doesn't ease up soon.

Last time I saw Argo was when we lost 3 nil at home to this lot under Del Boy. Dreadful. When the 3rd went in my youngest just sighed and said 'shall we just go Dad'
Hopefully our defence can keep them out and we'll win by a goal, 2-1.

As expected Accrington Stanley well on top and completely outplaying Argo. Their first goal is coming.

Great game to watch. Mayor outstanding today, toying with the right-back time after time after time to the point of taking the piss. Brilliant run and one-two with Ennis for his goal.
At the other end both their goals were due to sloppy almost comical defending on our part. For all Lowes attacking football philosophy it is patently clear there’s nobody on the coaching staff capable of marshalling our defensive players.

Cracking game to be fair, point fair but fook me we are wasteful we had more than enough chances to take all three points, defending and Cooper just going motionless twice cost us I thought Stanley were good defensively as a whole. Good subs and Reeves looked decent he can only get better. Mayor and Edwards were both decent, Camara gets better all the time. Opoku great at times then stupid errors more good than bad same for Fornah. We have enough in us to stay up easily I would say, onwards and upwards.

We need to find a Darren Purse/Graham Coughlan esq type defender by deadline Monday as Accrington's goal showed their goals from lack of communication and awareness from our players and keeper. The defence was ok mostly but that its clear as it has been all season so far we lack steel back there.
I hope there is money in place to bring a defender in.
