well I think they payed 300k for him so knowing how slippery tight BF is he would wanna re-coup fair of that 300k back ..I reckon they would wipe there mouth cut there losses at 175k if we went in with a bid of £150,000 they would snatch it from us. but i cany see Simon doing that on one player considering we need to strengthen in other areas. btw Gary Sawyer has signed his contract....https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2020/june/skipper-sawyer-signs-on/ |

| Randell, Lolos and Law have signed new contracts. A trio of former Argyle Academy graduates have signed contract extensions at Home Park. Wing-back Ryan Law, midfielder Adam Randell and striker Klaidi Lolos have all signed on for the Pilgrims' 20/21 return to Sky Bet League One. Law, who signed professional terms at Home Park in 2018 and made his competitive debut in the Greens' Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Newport County in November of that year, spent the majority of last season on-loan at Southern Premier League side Truro City, managed by Argyle legend Paul Wotton. Midfielder Randell also made his competitive debut in the Checkatrade Trophy defeat at Rodney Parade in 2018, and went on to make a further eight competitive appearances during the 19/20 season - his first as a professional. Four substitute appearances in the league, including during the Greens' final Sky Bet League Two fixture against Macclesfield Town, accompanied two starts and two substitute appearances in cup action, rounding off a successful debut campaign. Lolos also enjoyed an impressive first professional season at Home Park, amassing six competitive appearances either side of a loan spell at Dorchester Town, where he netted four goals in nine appearances. After an impressive pre-season effort which included a goal away at Torquay United, the Athens-born striker was named on the substitutes' bench for the opening day of the campaign - the Greens' 3-0 win away at Crewe Alexandra. Klaidi made his competitive debut off the bench at Newport County a few weeks later, making six competitive appearances in all competitions. Pilgrims' manager Ryan Lowe said: "I'm really pleased that the three lads have signed on for next season - they all have good potential and developing our Academy graduates is important. "Ryan went on-loan to Truro last year and did very well, the reports were good, and we felt that he deserved an opportunity to stake a claim for a role in the first-team. "We saw glimpses of what Randell and Lolos can do last season, they both had good involvement in and around the squad. For them, it is now about pushing on." | Academy graduate and Welsh youth international striker Luke Jephcott has signed a new contract at Home Park.
The Aberystwyth-born forward, 20, was recalled from a prolific loan spell at non-league Truro City in January and thrust straight into the Pilgrims’ starting line-up for the Sky Bet League Two trip to Scunthorpe United a day later – netting his first two EFL goals in a 3-1 win at the Sands Venue Stadium.
Seven days on, he repeated the same remarkable feat at Brunton Park, scoring twice in a 3-0 win over Carlisle United. One more goal came in January, during the 2-2 draw with Crawley Town at Home Park, which secured him both the EFL Young Player and Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month awards.
Luke, who made 10 appearances in the Pilgrims’ 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season, remained an integral member of the side for the promotion run-in, netting the crucial equaliser in the Pilgrims’ come-from-behind 2-1 victory over fellow promotion-chasers Crewe Alexandra in February.
Despite spending half of the season out on-loan, Luke finished the campaign as the Greens’ second-highest scorer, netting seven times in 14 appearances. For the second consecutive year, Jephcott was voted the Pilgrims’ Young Player of the Year by the supporters.
Speaking on Jephcott’s new contract, manager Ryan Lowe said: “We’re very pleased to have got the deal done. Luke has still got elements of his game to work on, but he has clearly got a lot of potential, as he showed last season.
“As an Academy graduate, Luke has the Green Army fully behind him, and the opportunity is there now to kick on and try to make himself the main striker for Argyle.” |

only one i can see saying no for whatever reason is MacFadzean. not sure why Cleal is taking this long to say yes though unless he will sign his when he returns to plymouth. |

| Maybe PAFC have had replies but until they sign on the dotted line they're keeping quiet....we have had a situation where a certain player ended up at Motherwell after agreeing a new contract at Argyle. |

Very unhappy with them but they acknowledge that times have changed. Suspect most will sign in the end. |

Very unhappy with them but they acknowledge that times have changed. Suspect most will sign in the end. Morecambe manager Derek Adams believes that out-of-contract players could be in for a rude awakening as they seek employment for next season. |

| I'm expecting Lowe to give a "give youth a chance" speech any say now. Don't reckon well sign many players. |

Very unhappy with them but they acknowledge that times have changed. Suspect most will sign in the end. It's rather difficult to give a good contract offer when you have no idea how much money you will be getting from gate receipts and when? |
