Johnson won’t last. He may go of his own accord, though Gove and Cummings will fight to keep him. That’s understandable. He’s their tool and their only route to power, so he serves their purposes.

The Conservative Party may in due course act to remove him, as it has done before with leaders far better than Johnson. One way or another he will go. Times are far too serious now for Johnson’s trademark brand of cheery rascality and empty ebullience.

Fear, anxiety, and actual suffering are much more widespread, while economic disaster and national disintegration loom. The nation will want a sober leader at this grave and terrible time."

No Harve it's all about Brexit with you and your spurious news "sources". Also Bojo is here for the foreseeable future. Let's imagine you were a Tory looking to seize power from Johnson? When would you move on him? If you remöved him now whoever is his successor would need to finalise the pointless Uk/eu negotiations, be blamed for being in power for when Brexit happens and handle the fallout from the pandemic. If and when Johnson goes it will be post Brexit and post Covid so they can then take the credit for our recovery.

I think we will see the virus taking its inevitable course now and feel we cannot avoid a second wave. More and more people I'm speaking to think its all a load of shite and just want to get on with life now.

My daughter in law has been trying for two days to get a test. I can't get through for a test - despite the testing station in Crownhill behind the Range being fooking deserted as usual. WTF is ACTUALLY going on here? She, Patel is a fooking lying beeatch. The whole testing scenario is shambolic at best and also shrouded in some smoke and mirror BS.

You know, I had hoped for a leader with gusto, cojones and a rod of iron to beat those EU bazzerdds around the head with when Johnson was voted in.

I had hoped for a someone to finally get a grip with the out of control immigration numbers when Patel was made HS.

I DID have nothing but respect for Hancock when he under immense, unbelievable pressure to try and fight Coronovirus.
