That’s the issue for me the press are awful and so misleading and misinforming that to get anywhere near an accurate picture is a real challenge, if not so labour intensive people give up and the snapshot headline or soundbite becomes King and is almost always far removed from accuracy. They then get spread via social media and too many people believe it without checking the authenticity of the statement e.g. headlines saying Cummings sister had been given a valuable contract when it was just someone with the same surname and not related.

The testing station at derriford opposite the range is very large and always very quiet with the exception of the 20 or so drones stood about twiddling thumbs, no doubt on handsome government bunce. I prefer the evidence of my own eyes over that of twitter/extreme left/remoaner piffle.

Had to laugh at the Speaker demanding yesterday for Hancock to return to the chamber to apologise today.
That was some 80 second beasting he took I only caught the end of PMQs and initially saw Johnson scuttling out for his coke and booze fix and thought it was for him instead....

The laughter only beaten from myself and the Labour benches by Hancocks apperance today to claim 10m covid tests daily by Spring after the scientific officers an hour earlier stating the technology certainly doesnt exist.

Its beyone surreal now. Complete piriah state we've become. Where it ends God alone knows as we move into Brexit catastrophe in January

Curfews will be brought in if necessary but, only if numbers are still going up. That is bound to happen now that thousands of students troop all over the country and arrive at various locations.

Scotland have  brought in new laws to allow only two households and six people to meet, rather than the five in England. A boffin on the news said there are flaws within the English laws.

A new catchphrase then - Hands, Face, Space. Gee, I bet they worked long into the night to come up with that one [SIC]

It doesn't matter how many rules you make of people don't follow them they are pointless. Loads of people have been ignoring the masks rule in Tavvy for ages the old bill need to get out there and start handing out some fines.

The virus is so deadly, we'll wait until Monday before enforcing new regulations.

I certainly didnt expect this at all. Full lockdown coming thats pretty clear. Who to blame  ??  Definately people mixing in big groups for one. All roads lead to one incident though and people saying feck it.

I assume, rightly or wrongly, you're alluding to the Cummings incident, where he had to drive many miles to see if he could see! FFS.

Logic tells me Mr Sunak & co, encouraged us all out to dinner with 'eat out to help out' ergo.................

100 million meals were served up in eating establishment all over the UK. Millions of us took up the offer. I wonder if social distancing was probably not in the forethought of a fair number of these establishments, and now, we have a huge surge in infections! Coincidence?

I wonder if this was Harve's mates way of accomplishing the 'herd immunity' that was anecdotally bandied around the halls of the fine wine sipping Westmonster corridors of power?
