Apparently, the government will be looking hard at the curfew angle. By all accounts this will only be brought in if the current measures fail and cases continue to rise, especially in the hotspots that have got basic restrictions at present.

On Spotlight last night, chappy there said that the rate per 100,000 in Plymouth is now 15.

A national lockdown is not off the cards but, it will be local lockdowns that continue for awhile.

There is no way there will be full lockdown again - the government don’t have an endless revenue stream to pay the furloughed millions.

I can see a time where all social & recreational activities are closed again though. Pubs restaurants etc. Which will lead to hundreds of thousands of redundancies.

I remember a similar argument put forward by the Brentonians.

I think that Covid has made many people wake up to that fact that we are a very corrupt country and more importantly we are literally unable to run a piss up in a brewery. nothing will change until people demand a change that involves getting rid of the old school tie network and many many layers of feeders and floaters. Getting rid of Johnson will achieve fook all apart from probably prolonging Brexit for another three years and lets face it that's what Harve and Seadog want here, Covid and corruption are a side issue as displayed by this and every thread littered with the B word.

Another Welsh county to go into local lockdown, this time it is Rhondda Cynon Taff. The lockdown will commence at 18:00 hours on Thursday, 17 September.

People will not be allowed to enter or leave the county, unless for work/education matters.

All pubs, bars and restaurants to close at 23:00 hours every day.

Daughter-in-law's been non-stop coughing for three days with a temperature of 38+. Still no tests available.

Advice was to self isolate and take it easy! FFS. Her kids, husband and anyone else who's visited lately now all have to self isolate. What a shambolic shit fest of twatbaggery.
