They have alienated so many people thats for sure. As my good mate says it looks like care in the community in that place singing songs with the Banana Anyway they get kicked out after 5 years so the club can put professionals in charge and get a good income directly to the club at that point. Put those idiots back in a big tent |

People beyond caring TG I think. Whilst the redevelopment is a huge improvement on what went before and I personally quite like the rear of the stand but overall its a blott on the landscape |

| What's occuring re the Western Gateway development (the vet, hotel car park). Who owns that area now? I've been sent an update by PCC but am too busy to plough through all the docs. Surely Brent isn't going to actually develop something. |

Don't think any developer was crazy enough to pay Brent's inflated prices for land to build a KFC and a Burger King outside a gym and healthy lifestyle complex where next to none of it's demographic were likely to spend any money. Can picture it now, queues out of the door with people wanting a 2000 calorie extra large fried chicken and chips and a giant pepsi after burning off only half that in an hours workout previously Matchday on average twice a month over ten months would be the only time the places would get footfall, and then it would extract revenue from the club, not that that bothers Brent. |

| Strange thing is, what with the Barcode build having trouble filling their space old Brenty looks like he was off the hook with his rival development moons ago - how he has dodged through 8 years down there I'll never know. |

| Talking to dog walkers and others over the last few days, none, I say again none of them knew about Mr Brent swale and all his surface water runs into this swale. Every one thought the drainage has been sorted. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] No dirt traps, haybales or other measures to control the silt. Environment agency would have a field day with that. Would like to see the environmental impacts and aspects register for the mankover, if infact one even exists................... |

It's a shame that PCC and the planners were almost partners with Brent in his schemes. All they needed was a series of ponds, reed beds and willow beds and they could have maassively slowed the water on its journey and cleaned it and made a fantastic bit of wildlife habitat. You could have done something really nice with £15-£20k. |

Was expecting Greens on Screens to feature some photos down at Barn Park considering TGWU's photos but nahhh They'd rather feature photos of kitchen equipment which will never see the light of day for the normal customer or photos of JCBs digging holes again Where that laying of the artifical grass is is that the area that Derek Adams originally cut the width of the pitch ?? |

| Greens on screen is getting more Aviva with each passing week it seems.
I thought they were supposed to be independent of PASOTI or had Newell got his tentacles in that little pie also? |

I thought they were supposed to be independent of PASOTI or had Newell got his tentacles in that little pie also? Of course Porky Nool has got his little trotters in there... Why do you think GoS stopped posting pictures of the Directors box (which used to be a weekly fixture in the match day photos) As soon as Newell was getting weekly abuse they stopped being shown. A courtesy that has never been shown any chairman or director... |
