| Swale over flowing again tonight, could not walk from the clock tower to Barn Park entrance because of heavy flooding
FOCP
Drainage
We now know what a swale looks like! Take a walk in Zoo Field if you haven’t already and see the new swale which has been made to satisfy the sustainable drainage requirements for the Home Park development.
There is to be another swale alongside Coronation Avenue which will run from the lower end of the Zoo Field swale to Barn Park. It will collect water from springs on the south side of the avenue and channel it to a new water feature at Barn Park. It will be a major scheme for the park and one that will shape it for many years to come. |

| So who approved Brent's swale? They must bear at least some of the responsibility?
After all.. Surely in the end, Brent has to comply with whatever demands they make? |

Nope - another part of the legacy of incompetence. Well there can be absolutely no claims of the redevelopment being completed in December January or February whilst this mess remains. Sort it out Bungo find the causes find the culprits and rectify the problem |

| They will have agreed an attenuation volume and flowrate based on the surface area of the development and standard rainfall Nothing to see here . The photos you put up at Barn Park entrance show the combined sewer overflow discharge which is now screened due to chamber and equipment under steel covers just inside fence line. Same system repeated 12 locations through catchment fro Peverell down through PCQ down to Storehouse Creek and opposite DHSG where you get puddles.
The only question on drainage should be how much JB has paid as most of new roof space in plans was his ice shack. Without that could have argued no change in roof area. |

| I was talking to a PCC worker who was inspecting the floods last week, he sad that the volume and flowrate coming out of Brent pipe exceeded what was passed in planing, this was before the heavy rain we had that week, he has reported this to his boss. His other concern was the amount of fertiliser coming off the pitch and going in to the park fauna and flora . |

Email your concerns to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] who was the original planning officer. I did so yesterday. I also emailed GOS asking for some balanced reporting and telling them to include some photos of the mess. Doubtless they'll ignore now they're kowtowing to the Newell |

| Sounds like more of a problem for Hallett and the club than for Brent, he's like a Teflon toilet. |

| The price tag for the redevelopment of the south side of Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park has reached £10 million.
That primarily covers the cost of the refurbishment of the 5,400-seat Mayflower Grandstand, with its new conferencing and hospitality centre.
It also includes a number of other improvements, such as a new public address system to artificial turf on the side of the pitch. |

| It's reached the same price as Brent's mini stand, I know what I'd rather have, plus Brent's stand would have probably cost £12m by the time it was finished. |
