You gotta laugh. Never before has there been such an overwhelming opportunity for an opposition party to steamroll an election. Yet the leader of the opposition is so utterly inept and lacking in any credibility, that he knows he can’t win.

its not that, its to prevent Johnson sneaking Brexit over the line during the interim. They'll be an election once we're certain he hasn't buggered up the country.

Buggered up the country? What like three years of waffle, disruption and can kicking has done? Warnings of Britain slipping into recession caused by all this uncertainty are being ignored and we are going for more time wasting, more uncertainty for business and it's all Bojos fault? Please explain why any of this is good for the country?

Why do people think he is a liar?

The sooner Farage is in charge, officially, the better.

Nigel is smiling rubbing his hands on the sidelines waiting for the question to be offered to the people again, in the meantime he's biding his time. Unforch by the time he gets in power Britain wil be reduced to a hollow shell of what it once once by years of business uncertainty and weakened currency. Still at least we will avoid a cliff edge disaster and just wither and die in a slow agonising death instead.

Those that want to remain should not be involved in a vote regarding leaving with or without a deal.

So no SNP, Lib/Dems, Greens, most of Labour. Independents and Conservative whip losers.

Then we might be able to sort it out and get on with our lives.

BUT he could get 4 million votes again and end up with no seats because of the first past the post system....which is not democratic....10% of the votes should equal 10% of the seats...it works in most other countries and cuts out left or right extremes.

So according to former Director General of Prosecutions old Boris should he defy the Parliament ruling and fail to ask for a delay to Brexit could well end up holding hands with Gangsters in the Scrubs.....

Whilst I have no love for the Tories Boris the Blade has destroyed whats left of the Party in 4 days flat....tremendous performance

Amber Rudd resigned last night from the Cabinet and as a Tory MP over the outrageous treatment of her colleagues
I can see Boris actually exploding tomorrow when his second request for a GE is chucked out in the Commons

Nobody trusts you Bozo absolutely no one. He needs to resign tomorrow for the Tories to have any chance of regrouping. Bring in Jeremy Hunt

Lol harve.....your sources seem to be fragile again. The Guardian are reporting a 10% lead in the polls for the Tories and Politicshome.com give them a 14 point lead. If he survives the snakes in his own party and makes it to an election he'll muller red jezza with at least 50% of those who voted leave expected to vote for bojo.

Jeremy Hunt, that man of the people and bastion of the NHS? Have a feckin word with yourself, there is no bigger cnut in all of parliament. As for the Tories regrouping the EU issue has been pulling it apart for years it was why Cameron had to call the referendum, he wanted to solve the issue once and for all.
Personally I regard the tearing apart of the partes as a really good thing, feckin bunch of out of touch cnuty dinosaurs treating us all with contempt for many a year. Fook them all.

Politics home is a political news website, its not a polling organisation. Of the many polls at the moment, Survation the only one which called 2017 correctly puts the Tories on 29% and Labour on 24%, which points to yet another hung Parliament. Hardly a mullering.

The easiest way out of this has to be leaving with Mays deal except for a Northern Ireland backstop. The DUP would be upset but who cares.

All the Remainer Facebook pages will be heralding it as the biggest threat to democracy since a majority of the British people voted to leave the EU?
Seriously though why should the government publish it's internal machinations to the opposition? Never happened before why now?

And now with the partisan pipsqueak jumping ship before he's pushed they are desperate to put in place another Remainer MP to skew the arguments in their favour and completely ignore the clause of impartiality of the speaker forever.
You have to fear for democracy, it's over the MPs have taken control and it's not just Brexit they will take control of (not that they ever have had control of fook all). I'm never voting again, just more spoiled ballot papers from me.

Not a question of "why should they".
They have been ordered to hand them over by midnight tomorrow thats all that is relevant. Your Johnson has everything to hide thats the issue here and because he's the ultimate compulsive liar he's been caught with his strides down on this one

He's a habitual liar that has been fired from at least 3 jobs for making stuff up. He's very much the same ilk as Nool in that lying comes completely naturally to the point its accepted you can't trust anything he says. His most recent barefaced lie was to the Queen for the Prorogue of Parliament, which is why no one will stand up in court. He's also lying over his attempts to get a deal, when no new proposals have been received by anyone.

His only way out of this mess which allows us to leave on the 31st without breaking the law is to bring back Mays deal from the dead and remove Great Britain from the backstop, it comes at a massive price and with several caveats.

Firstly you're literally throwing the Union into the Sea, the Irish Sea, the DUP will never forgive or forget and its likely to cause all manner of problems in Northern Ireland
The Lib Dems and SNP won't back it, probably around 30 - 40 Headbanger Tories won't either, meaning it will require Labour support
Its going to look pretty weak when Johnson allows the 30-40 headbangers to continue receiving the Tory Whip when he's just expelled 21 MP's for doing exactly the same

All in all it would theoretically get it over the line and allow Johnson some sort of legacy.

Illegal migrants read the Guardian (probably).

Eighty-six people attempted to cross the English Channel in a single day - amid claims that people smugglers were using threats about Brexit to pressure migrants.
Border Force officials intercepted six small vessels travelling towards the UK on Tuesday.
It is thought to be the highest number of people found in a single day.
French politician Pierre-Henri Dumont said migrants were wrongly being told "the crossing will close" after Brexit.
He blamed "fake news" about the UK's departure from the EU and said "security measures" alone would not stop the rise in crossings.
The Home Office said two small boats carrying a total of 23 people were intercepted by Border Force officials on Tuesday morning.
As the day progressed, four further vessels were intercepted, it said.
More than 1,100 people have crossed the Channel in small boats this year, with 336 in August.

Once they find out about Johnsons lies they will all be risking life and limb to get back to the EU. Lmfao.

When will Doris resign? Before 31st of October is my forecast.

An outbreak of Bone Spurs will prevent him from continuing in active service.
