| Boris seriously is trashing his own party in real time. Can hardly believe what we're hearing Corbyns heading to number 10 by a wide margin at this rate |

Yes I had to ask my lad beside me did he actually say that lol He's been asked 5 times now a direct question what discussions with the EU are happening. 5 times hes blustered in response about surrender bills instead. One female shouted "answer the question" in frustration He's absolutely hopeless across the board. |

| Is a recession a worthwhile price to pay for avoiding no deal?
The UK is at risk of slipping into recession, according to a closely watched survey of industry managers. The dominant services sector grew only slightly in August, the purchasing managers' index (PMI) from IHS Markit/CIPS suggests. "The lack of any meaningful growth... raises the likelihood that the UK economy is slipping into recession," said IHS economist Chris Williamson. The construction and manufacturing sectors also shrunk in August. The services sector accounts for 80% of the UK economy. According to IHS' survey, the sector barely expanded in August, achieving a score of 50.6 - down from 51.4 in July. Anything above 50 marks growth, while a lower number indicates a contraction. However, the figure including manufacturing and construction was 49.7, the second contraction for the private sector in three months. IHS Markit said Brexit uncertainty and higher business costs were to blame.
It's almost as though the MPs don't give a toss about the UK. If they win this next round we will kick the can down the road for another three months whilst they all plot and scheme on how to prolong the agony even further. Whilst all the attentions centred on no deal what's happened to the "graduated withdrawal" that was mooted after we took the vote? For example leave EU on 31st October but do it over a three year period enabling businesses to plan for the event, medicines and drugs would have no initial problems crossing the border and again there would be three years to plan for it. Who could possibly argue against it? |

| Fantastic twenty four hours for British politics. Locking us into limbo land. Opposition frightened of an election and a PM with no majority sat there like a lemon whilst the country slowly slides into the shite. A round of applause for all the MPs who have worked tirelessly to achieve this. |

What entertainment it has been on channel 232. They reckon Boris will try to bring in a new law to secure an election. |

Yep I'd go along with that. Interesting that by apparently an error the previous withdrawal bill is back on the menu last night |

| According to one newspaper, EU Blairites persuaded (leaned on) Corbyn not to vote in favour of an election.
The new law they think Boris could being in is a lower voting percentage to win a new vote. |

The only deal the EU are likely to offer now the MPs have tied Bojos hands to negotiate a new one? This should go back to the people now parliament are no nearer a resolution after sthree years another three years won't sort it. It's a feckin disgrace and can't be pinned solely on Bojos shoulders all the MPs from all sides should be ashamed of themselves. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]You gotta laugh. Never before has there been such an overwhelming opportunity for an opposition party to steamroll an election. Yet the leader of the opposition is so utterly inept and lacking in any credibility, that he knows he can’t win. |

Yep thats the one. No Deal Bill will reach Royal assent tomorrow. I suspect Corbyn will accept Boris' renewed calling of an election next Monday but wont be prior to 31/10. |

They'll be an election once we're certain he hasn't buggered up the country. |

Not correct. It was the only deal possible once you'd taken Mays insistence on ending freedom of movement into account and squared it with the need to keep the Irish border open as well as keeping the DUP onside and preventing the Break up of the United Kingdom. Corbyn is also ruling out an election this side of 31st, which means Johnson will either have to go to Brussels for an extension, resign or break the law. Neither option is particularly good for him. The first means the Brexit Party will kill him in a November election, the 2nd he wont do, the third is pretty It makes me laugh wailing that Johnsons hands have been tied, he hasn't done a damn thing other than insist the EU drop the backstop which they won't do and otherwise run the clock down. Johnson has been woeful right from the second he's faced serious scrutiny. Not even his Brother wants anything to do with him. |
