| Nance has got it a bit shit really.
He could do a fantastic job Saturday but won't get a chance to shine as the season is then done.
Risk it with Nance or go for experience? |

Risk it with Nance or go for experience? Nance head coach with experience as director of football , working alongside the new scout to find players . Then all Nance needs to do is work on the coaching |

| I'm amazed no one has put Peter Reids name forward. Did quite well for us considering he only had nine players at the start of the season and he'd help out paying the bills as well so he'd get Jims vote. |

| Paul Mariner? Bleeds Green and has enough experience to keep us just above the relegation places in league 2 so would hit the boards target. |

| See if we could get Michael Foots old donkey jacket and hat, stick a broom up the jacket, stick the hat on top. He could be carried around by Rory Fallon as head coach. Most fans would lap it up. |

| Adams had to go, when he accepted a five year contract and a pay rise in exchange for a Bent Budget, that was the end for me. No succesful club bring in ten players and gets rid of the same number, its fookin bonkers! well done Si for taking the hit and getting rid of Adams,Jimmy would not have. |

Then all Nance needs to do is work on the coaching then watch the fans inluding you rally on him if we dont hit the ground running next season. Nance im sure will still involved with the club whether its still as a first team coach or back with the academy so he'll be ok. lets not forget he has been temp boss before with larrieu when fletcher was fired. |

Not at all whoever comes in within reason (Not Hollowords) I'd give them a season and a half at the very least, To build what they need to after Adams. I think with a director of football to help and his own team he might be okay but I'm not sure who I want. I don't think we can judge Nance on one game all those years ago. |

| He won't be unemployed for long.
He's a good manager but maybe more suited to Scottish football. |

| Derek Adams might not be out of work for long as he has already been linked with two high profile jobs. The Scot was sacked by Pilgrims chairman Simon Hallett on Sunday after the side were thumped 5-1 by Accrington Stanley the day before. Adams also refused to speak to any media following the game at the Wham Stadium, much to the annoyance of many fans. Despite his sacking, the 43-year-old still has an impressive CV, from not only his time at Argyle but also with Ross County. So it is no wonder that he has already been linked to a number of jobs, with the Scotland job being the most high profile. Sky Bet have given odds of 18/1 for him to replace Alex McLeish, which puts him as eighth favorite with the bookmakers. Former Everton and Manchester United manager David Moyes is the favourite with odds of 10/11. Scot Gemmill (3/1), Steve Clarke (3/1), Derek McInnes (10/1), Slaven Bilic (12/1), Malky Mackay (16/1) and Sven-Goran Eriksson (16/1) all have shorter odds. Domestically, it is Championship club QPR that Adams has been linked to, although the odds of him getting that job are much higher at 40/1. The club are looking for a new boss following the sacking of former England manager Steve McClaren in April. Other names being touted at 40/1 are Brian McDermott, Darrell Clarke, Joey Barton, Matt Gardiner and Neil Warnock. The favourite is Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth who has odds of 1/3 to get the job. Darren Moore (11/ , Mark Warburton (5/2) and Tim Sherwood (7/1) are just behind Ainsworth in the betting list. Adams was out of work for 10 months following his sacking for Ross County but it would definitely be a surprise if he had to wait that long again for a return to management. poor jocks they thought McLeish was shite.... |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Standard thanking of everyone - bar the fans. I’ve never known an Argyle manager to be so hyper-sensitive to criticism. Williamson was another dour Scot, but Adams is the Po-faced King. |
