Even better news. Kevin Nanceawhatsaname has a chance to be immortal in argyle folklore if he keeps us up. Let the search for a new manager begin. Ill start anyone but gary johnson and ian holloway will be considered. |

| Mixed feelings for me.
It's plain to see he had to go after that feckin abysmal result but I also thank him for getting us back into league one and helping the club to progress.
It's such a shame and so sad that he nearly undid everything he had achieved.
Now Wotton has fecked off go and get Cocko! |

| Had to be done I suppose but the damage is already done.
Just wait for some bellend to call for Sturrock or Johnson to come in. |

| Maybe too little too late. should have gone much earlier,
Sad about Wotton cause it tarnishes what he did as a player here. |

| Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of the team for the vital final match of the Sky Bet League One season at home to Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
This is the shit or bust move |

| Might be more of a chance of the crowd getting behind the team now. That is if the team shows up. |

Now Wotton has fecked off go and get Cocko! yeah he gets thanks for what he did of course. he achieved some good memorable moments here including promotion but he Often fecked up achieving far more like a play off final win and failing that the league two championship the following season which were both ours or the taking had it not been for stuttering performances towards the ends of seasons including last season along with some very questionable tactics and signings and sheer lack of squad rotation and strength. He had to go for the good of the club and now we can find a new manager with fresh ideas and will bring his own style here free of having to have Wotton around who if he was incharge of that defence he should leave the club tarred and feathered regardless of his playing credentials here. Nance im sure will be kept on by the club in his role now or a new one probably back with the academy, wilmott probably will go back to the academy if hes not kept on by the new guy also and Osbourne no idea in truth. That head of recruitment appointment seems silly now as im sure thats now going to be a redundant job as the new guy will want someone he knows who knows what he likes working alongside him over some guy who convinced southgate to piss away millions on substandard shit. the retain list is going to be interesting as who do we keep now or let go no matter what league we are in? let it not go un said that james brent is the man responsible for how shite we have been his reluctance to back a manager with a decent budget might have played out differently or us. Easy for blind argyle fans to lump the blame for this season on Hallett's door but hes not at fault for it all brent is and he needs to go too along with his daughter who brings feck all to the club and his buddies.

| I hate to celebrate someone losing their job, but it had to happen, he's taken us as far as he could. Very sad for Wotton, my all time favourite player, but needs must. |

| Late or not. Doesn't matter. It's done now and was the right decision. We move on. What is required now if for every spare soul with some spare cash to get up to that ground, raise the roof off the damn place, and show potential new managers what the fan base is actually capable of. Intimidate the hell out of that Scunthorpe team and hope for a sodding Sunderland win.... |

badges mean jack shit in reality its the ability of the person that counts. He will have 12000 argyle fans backing him on saturday and the players who im sure played apart in getting the club to sack adams tonight also must rally and fight for the badge on saturday whether they plan to move on for next season or not. it can be done and nance im sure will do his best no matter what, if we go down we must go down fighting and it will in no way be down to him if we fall.

| It's the team that has to step up, no excuses now, nowhere to hide. If they can get the win on Saturday they will redeem themselves somewhat with the fan base, not turn up again and they will be remembered as one of the worst Argyle teams ever. Fook all to do with Nance really. |

Interesting they kept him, maybe the players have more respect for him? |

Interesting they kept him, maybe the players have more respect for him? Thats what I'm thinking or its a case of who else is there. Kevin Hodges ? We can't judge him much on the reserves, because he just had to play the formation/tactics Sorry Adams and tactics That he was told to play. The Gillingham match he was previously in charge of has no bearings either. Its strange one but we have to back him for this game at least. In Nance we trust. |

Interesting they kept him, maybe the players have more respect for him? Probably so. Wotton was part of the problem and had to go too. The dressing room had clearly been lost. Too little too late though I reckon. Adams legacy will be one of leaving us where he found us, in division 4 - because this relegation will be on his head. Say what you like about Hallet, but I’m pretty sure if Bent was still at the helm he’d be sitting on his hands, baulking at the potential payout of a four year contract. Argyle aren’t down yet don’t forget, so any relegation clause reducing Adams pay-off wouldn’t have been triggered. Kudos to Hallett for that. |
