| Since when did football become second rate to corporate shite?
Bring back the old days where all that mattered was getting pissed on the terraces. |

Bring back the old days where all that mattered was getting pissed on the terraces. Yea Man Hapless Hallett and Bent are making a huge mistake thinking this corporate dining etc will provide money for themselves (because thats where its going or not in this case) Theres absolutely zero call for fine dining in the middle of the park in the middle of winter for events. They will get one big shock after a years gone by as the realisation dawns. Same with GTs they will come across that exact same problem in winter |

| I think the gts will.be just ok. They will probably push for weddings , private parties and maybe live music on Fridays or Saturday's.
One thing the could do coz the place is just big enough is hold the local CAMRA beer festival. That sort of event would bring in alot of people.

Which is exactly what the Far Post did for decades and got very very little business like that. GTs in exact same location will struggle after the initial first year. |

Bring back the old days where all that mattered was getting pissed on the terraces. Oh those days are still here, believe me! An Argyle afternoon for me is around 20% about the football, and 80% about a few beers and a catch up with mates. The way things are going that latter percentage increases with each passing match. |

| I have no idea of its validity but it appears that the company with the contract for the cladding of the redevelopment has folded. Argyle had already paid part of the contract up front but not all
Suspect this will come out in the wash |

| Just had a quick stroll around up there. Virtually deserted couple guys out that back standing around all the machinery standing idle as well. Nobody on GTs either albeit didnt have great view of that Probably the least of Argyles problems though at the moment |

| I think this is Argyles problem. Fixated about the redevelopment at a cost to the squad and yet we don't seem to be in any rush to finish it. |

| You’ve got to hand it to Jon Back, he’s PM’d this development with no labour and machinery laying idle, reckon Back deserves a pat on the back! Also all those Sheikhs apparently lining up to buy Argyle are waiting for the refurb to be completed before making their move and also rumoured to want to use Back as their agent ! |

| Who gives a shit about the shit mankover. 2/3 length stand with a tiny roof is a total wast of a very expensive 6 million loan and is a factor in relegation back to div 4 for probably many years to come. |

| The cameras are defunct or they were but when Cam 1 was operating you can see how far the concrete blocks stick out either side of the roof overhang from East to West. Its going to look very strange without the joined up corners. I see that the Tardis is still in current position whereas Bungo had said they were relocating it several months ago |

Really Graiser to date into the 16th month of redevelopment for 1 side of a ground whereas 3 sides of the Horseshoe took 6 months in total. In addition lets be honest we are months and months from any finish and even Bungos best predictions are now November which going on past schedules will mean spring 2020 |

Still with you regularly reporting nothing happening and nobody on site there still appears to be progress don’t you think? |

Well it appears you do as you quite regularly post your quite eloquent comments on it |

| This relegation may well have a savage effect on the GTs income bearing in mind the colossal debt they have to repay. Virtually everyone I know bar 2 are red carding season tickets and just picking and choosing their matches. Will have huge impact on McGuires set up which was already facing impossible debt servicing. |

| One thing I've never understood is, if the fans' bar is going to be a financial success, why did the club hand it over to the GTs rather than run it themselves? Unlike Mr 30% I'm no businessman, but I'm not sure that competition is always good - in this case I can see the GT-run bar being far more successful, both financially and in terms of popularity, than the fine dining experience planned by the club. |
