Nah they’ll use their common sense and if they want to they’ll get a ticket where it’s covered. |

| Two unrelated sources elsewhere both stating the same in that the Sparkies have walked off the job after their company had not been paid by Brents outfit. Brents standard MO as always. |

Brents standard MO as always. Great news. If Harves previous claims are anything to go by.. We can now expect all electrical work to be finished up within the next few days! |

Morning ricks still following me around like a stuck goose I see. Brent will pick on the wrong gaffer to pull his MO over "issues" one day and find himself enjoying hospital food. Theres not a West country crew unaware of his shenanigans about denying payments owed to contractors over the slightest minor problem. He specialises in it Karma always but always catches up with them sooner or later |

None of them ever seem to have the strength of their convictions and come out openly. Not surprising really as they hardly ever turn out to be true. Still.. Nothing like fodder for the gullible... |

| I have to say that being in the electrical game that I have been told stories about JB. One is in the past it has been said that he does find ‘issues’ with work but I haven’t heard anything about the makeover. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! No I’m definitely not and I agree with the rest of your post just wondering why the delight in stating the obvious, if people wish to invest then good luck to them, it’s a risk that’s taken with any investment Graiser we have a special kind of stupid in Plymouth. People are getting half a per cent in Banks and yet McGuire wont release a business plan unless you're sat in front of him offering you 10 times that amount of interest
Hallett put £6 million in supposedly into the Grandstand at 3%
If the GTs was such a good bet why didnt he pop a million on a cheque at 5%. Further words superfluous Perhaps because according to you it’ll go tits up anyway so he could get it at a knock down price in 5 years, who knows but I won’t knock anyone who chooses to invest with eyes wide open. Slightly off tack but progress on the Mayflower stand looked quite noticeable yesterday |

Slightly off tack but progress on the Mayflower stand looked quite noticeable yesterday The steels going in for the lower Mayflower is the most significant piece of construction yet for the old girl, and long may it continue. However, I have a feeling, and I could be wide of the mark here, the entire project is woefully behind schedule. Let's hope pace picks up as the weather continues to improve. |

Brent is well known for not paying bills, along with many other companies who sub contract then refuse to pay. However, in this case, it's unlikely that bills haven't been paid, as it isn't Brent's money, and any hold up because of his incompetence would affect the whole build - and he has the rest of the board to answer to. |

So avoid the entire mankover lower tier then Well that’ll be up to whoever wishes to sit there or not won’t it Just a shame we're mortgaged to the hilt for a stand half of which is weather dependent. And in a part of the country where the weather in winter is almost permanent rainfall. It's just all a bit shit. |

| I have no idea if its on schedule or not referring to POI earlier but once again Planning is not remotely signed off in any shape or form. Not sure where Deliar pulled that from last week but completely spurious. You have to wonder though that if it IS on schedule for August with just a few guys doing work at best why didnt they just flood the job originally and already have the Grandstand and seat sales back in play. |

| I’m no builder but a Railway engineer but the principles are very similar, even relaying complicated point layouts I would only utilise the required resources rather than flood the site, particularly with manpower as some are prone to do, the results are soaring costs and busting budgets, as most posters on ATD who appear to have knowledge of civil engineering have commented many times on the circa 6 million budget for the refurbishment appearing to be small beans, perhaps this is why the site does not appear to be over endowed with staff |

Well frankly it should work like that. It has nothing to do with overall budget either. Getting the Grandstand back in play would ensure additional income as well. The amount of guys you see at Home Park could be likened to building a single detached house at best Shortly into the 14th month as well and lets not forget Bungo promised previous season ticket holders they'd be able to see the views from their seat in March. 3 days away |
