He's a very intelligent man, if he had the looks of B liar in 97 he'd be running the show, Style over substance innit.

That Jacob Rees Mogg is an authentic man of style over substance is hilarious, well actually its not its bullshit. His aristocratic affectation is a total put on, his Dad was was a Newspaper reporter, not from the landed gentry. More fool you for swallowing it.
But what substance... Like his oppostion to abortion even in the case of incest or rape?
Rees-Mogg is a bigot who has rightly guessed that by pretending to be Bertie Wooster the forelock tuggers will lap it up.

Do you honestly believe that I was suggesting Moggy is a proponent of style over substance? Good grief.

Jacob Rees-Mogg's father was William Rees-Mogg who was a former editor of The Times, a life peer and owned Ston Easton Park, in Somerset.

My comment was that he spoke more sense than anyone else last night. IMO obvs.

I watched it as well and his understanding and communicative skills on putting the case for Brexit stood out for me, as he’s always seems to do in most interviews, such a pity most of the other labour and Tory half wits can’t be.

To my mind after the AGs interpretation Brexit is now dead in the water and we will simply not leave under any scenario. I was hoping his report would enable a deal to pass tonight but seems highly unlikely now.
Tomorrow No Deal comes off the table. Extension to Article 50 on Thursday and thereafter Brexit dies a death

Britains dying on its fuckin arse and has been for the last ten years. I don't know why the government don't just get on with finishing us off all together, put the UK on EBAY with a no reserve auction. If the Ruskies won we could end up with Vlad as PM. At least with his style of corruption it would give us lower level businessmen more chance of a slice of the pie.

Putin is Brexit. Bexit is Putin.
He's the eminence grise that financed (one of) the corrupt Leave campaign(s) and is already in power.
He just hasn't decided to go public yet.

You know Frannie..? You could have all the money in the world, and be pushing your bullshit out at me 24/7/365...
I'd still think you were wrong about most things.
You don't ever seem to credit people with being able to think for themselves. You're an intellectual snob.

Life peer means his title exists for the length of his life. It was awarded to him in 1988 It wasn’t inherited by him and he didn’t pass the title on. As meaningless as club president.

Tomorrow MPs will reject no deal, the following they’ll approve an extension to A50. The EU will give us until 23rd May at which point we either take part in EU elections or not. May will present her deal again and faced with a no deal that the HP doesn’t want it will pass

We will vote on Mays deal every week from now until the end of eternity. It will become a tradition with the real meaning and origins lost in time.

Morgan Stanley is Remain. Remain is Morgan Stanley.
They (immense American financial institution) that financed one of the corrupt Remain campaign(s) and is already in power.
They just haven't decided to go public yet.
Both statements 100% factually true.

No they aren't.
Only the Leave campaign has been found guilty by the electoral commission of breaking the rules in such a severe way way that it has handed the case on to the National Crime Agency.
That's a real fact.
Not that you give a feck.

The comments from the German on the Brexit Steering committee and subsequently the Belguim MEP interviewed on Sky should have sent warning bells to Parliament that there must be one helluva good reason to grant even one days extension and even then all 27 members must agree. Its not a certainty and frankly Barnier and Juncker must be sick to death of us
As you say till 23/05 at best.

Ignorance is bliss. Crack on. Anybody who thinks that American banks funding political campaigns over here is ok obviously doesn't give a feck about democracy at all. Please explain why it's ok to us thick racists.

If there’s an extension it’ll be a short one, the vote for no deal tonight will be defeated but is not legally binding anyway, May will continue to propose her deal and it’ll continue to be defeated until the extension time limit when we’ll have to leave on a no deal scenario unless May’s deal is finally approved in order to prevent leaving on a no deal.
The risk to the above is either another referendum or a General Election and I can’t see there being a GE

Graiser JRM was the only one last night who believed the complete no deal scenario was not legally binding. I agree in legal terms its not but its absolutely off the table now
Short extension to allow TM deal to be further debated is a possibility. There can be no referendum unless there is a 8 month extension as thats how long the legalities take for another one. A GE makes no odds to the EU
EU wont sanction beyond 23/05 in which case there are two choices left. Theresa Mays deal or revoke Article 50 completely. TMs deal will go through possibly next week because I'm in the camp that the EU may not even sanction even 1 days extension
Why would they when article 50 being revoked is now gleaming in their eyes again.

Utter bizarre day with the Government whipping against its own motion and allowing a free vote on the ludicrious "Malthouse Compromise" which the EU have already rejected.
The vote for the extension should pass and the EU will give us one, then we'll have to decide whether to take part in EU elections. Hence we have had the utterly pathetic spectacle of Farage and co arselicking right wing foreign governments to help them out of a hole.
