| Picture after picture of enablement and destruction Bungo why hasnt anything been constructed yet you know sort of like bricks on top of bricks cobbled together in the usual fashion ?? Still having problems with those planning permissions perhaps...... How coincidental that you've released that in light of PCC kicking the drainage can down the road today on your behalf |

How coincidental that you've released that in light of PCC kicking the drainage can down the road today on your behalf Hard to conclude otherwise. After all we know: 1. the drainage issue remains unresolved since the end of the season so that's 5 months and counting 2. the application for the changing rooms went in after they were erected so that hardly inspires the feeling that the club is right on top of things Although guessing: 3. I wouldn't be surprised that the 2nd GT planning application was necessary, and also delayed, due to the club holding things up rather than the GTs doing so. After all Gary is a decorator and has dozens of tradey builder-type contacts. He'd'v'e known straight away that moving and expanding the GT Bar would need new planning permission and given the long-established record of delivery and professionalism they have exhibited, in marked contrast to the club, it is hard to imagine that haven't been right on top of things and ready to go all along. All you have to do is look at the long list of failed construction schemes attached to Brent to realise that he hasn't any history at all of delivering any sort of building project and then dig a little deeper to see that Jon Back, with no industry experience whatsoever is i/c. Quite why anybody would expect the project to be delivered on time, under budget or even delivered at all is beyond me. Derek Adams said at the recent PACSA do that his office had moved 4 times since it all started. Hardly reeks of a plan dripping in considered, detailed logistical planning, does it? |

| The overriding sense I get from Bungo's blog, is what an absolute fookin pain in the arse job this all is. You get the sort of feeling the contractors are walking on eggshells in the desperate hope that they don't mistakenly remove a brick that should be left in situ - and then get a ticking off for incurring an extra 80p in costings.
All the piles of crap, neatly swept and painstakingly piled up and stacked in the middle of rooms. Maybe Bungo had the labourers do it purely for photographic effect....who knows. But for fooks sake get rid of it, man. How much longer is this ripping out phase going to take? It's like they've been doing the internal work with a kinder egg chisel and a toffee hammer.
As for the club shop, well....we can only deduce that PAFC are going for a Guinness Book of Records title for the longest time ever taken to fit out a few portakabins.
Village, to the end. |

| Like I've said before this doesn't look like a £6.5m project, nothing like it. It does look like its being PMed by an amateur though. It's like grand designs just after they've spent their contingency budget, their savings and are just about to start on the credit cards. It will all end with Monty Don walking around saying how shit it is. |

| It's just engrained at PAFC ain't it? A complete rank amateur skeleton-staffed set up.
Who the actual fook looks at that tv screen and learns something they don't already know?? A total waste of time and effort and money. It can't be seen by passing traffic so the target audience it should have been aimed at are oblivious to it.
Even if it worked properly, all it does is show the park and riders and dogwalkers (i.e. the same people day after day) what the next game is.
Utterly pointless. |

Utterly pointless. Not only that it’s embarrasibgly tiny, what is the point of it? It amused me that supporters raised the money to pay for it, Haylett the other half whilst Brent donated absolutely feck all and worst of all no one expected him to. Like the bloke in in the pub wh9 always has a drink in hand but never buys one. |

When he put Bungo in charge of the mankover, I thought he’s trolling us now. The club is virtually dead to me. |

| Bungo Back being the project manager when he has zero experience says everything we need to know about Brent. The fact he even got the job at Argyle in the first place smells of a job for the boys. |

I think Harve's been on the case. Apparently the drainage issue has still not been resolved but they have permission to carry on with enabling work. Apoggs if wrong, but that's the jist of things I got from Harve. |

Apoggs if wrong, but that's the jist of things I got from Harve. Yes no change. When you think they actually started in April knocking down outhouses, shithouses, far post, removing seats (they're actually still in situ on Mayflower level) its quite unbelievable what they havent achieved. 6 months of enablement could have been done in 2 weeks tops by a professional contractor. For a £6-7 million job there is virtually no one up there. Look at the photos Bungo put up half botched rooms with stuff hanging down its a complete mess. Its pretty obvious now the main contract for the refurb isnt signed. Planning doesnt exist. That is known PCC had a meeting originally scheduled for the 12th with the senior water engineer Andy (forget his surname for the moment) to assess progress. It was no coincidence Bungo released that blog on the same day claiming all is well Look at the portacabin city club shop. 8 weeks to fit out a portacabin !! Pure Gold absolute gold Whats more everyone on ATD knew and stated in advance this was exactly what was going to happen |
