How did we cash in on Toums? Brent (not we FFS!) cashed in by not offering the going rate and therefore saving money by Toums opting for the more ambitious Fleetwood
BRENT OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh what pollocks!!! He went for family reasons. Fleetwood have a chairman who can 'give' the club money (give = only way to by-pass FFP but then any stick will do!) When Toums left many said the season was over but the Argyle form has got better so the Toums discussion is dead in the water. Move on and search for another stick. It's bleedy boring reading the same carp from the same people. Yeh right, some of the highest gates in the division yet we don't need spare players to cover for injuries, suspensions, tactical decisions or even to rest spare legs at the business end of the season? Something that all the other teams we are in the mix with seem to have? We are somehow stronger without TOUMS, Jervis, Nelson and Purrington although they have all gone to rivals/similar clubs as us? as for the same crap? What the feck does even mean? If we had crowds of 6000 and debts of £7m then your arguments would bear listening to, today we had a crowd of 14,650 people on average the clubs receives £12.50 per head work it out, we are saving money on a full squad to fund property deals. You are a TWAT, just feck off, TWAT, TWAT, TWAT, TWAT, TWAT. feck off TWAT. Ps. I'm not even drunk, I've had a nice day/evening I'm not despondent about the result but it's so obvious without apologist twats like Tone we could so easily be challenging for an automatic spot, without going into debt. Brent is only half the problem we need to root out of the club the twats like Tone enable Speccy to divert cash from players to property it would be funny if it wasn't so serious. Brent Out, Tone Out, Nooligans out, Adams and team in. Twat. |

| The atmosphere in the ground was like some rugger buggering crèche, not helped by the stewards throwing people out for standing.

| Unless I'm imagining it the atmosphere in the Demport was pretty dead and quiet apart from about four or five back rows in block three standing and of course the drummer. At one point the Pompey fans sang "you're support is shit" but then it was a tense game. To be honest it was a bit boring - looking forward to the cricket. |

It's bleedy boring reading the same carp from the same people. He didn’t go for family reasons. He went because we didn’t offer him a decent deal initially. He started looking around and quickly realised he could get more money, and a longer deal, elsewhere. By the time we upped our offer it was too late. Our form didn’t dip as many predicted but it has left our squad wafer thin. Just because you don’t understand this simple chain of events doesn’t mean it isn’t true. |

Threlkeld definitely MOM, scrappy, cagey game throughout. Letheren although not really tested today displayed some atrocious kicking as did the Pompey goalie. Yes as mentioned the bench looks painfully thin - no more to be said. BRENT OUT Agree with that, neither team wanted to lose by the look of it, so 0-0 was a fair outcome. Argyle have it in their own hands now and only they can screw it up. |

| Felt slightly despondent at nils but on reflection it’s a decent point. All in our own hands and 4 points from 6 taken off immediate rivals in the last 2 games.
Concerned about Taylor being out for longer and as others have said it highlights the short-sightedness of our paper-thin options up front. DA’s defensive comments about it only further highlight that. |

| As soon as Taylor came into the reckoning from a long injury, everything changed, and a rare, almost by chance, balance was struck in the team, allied with Adams allowing more "footballers" into the starting eleven, what he called "expansive" football. That balance needs the style of Taylor, he's very good at what he does. It just won't work with the likes of Grant, or anyone else in the squad for that matter. It didn't work with Jervis either. Oh, and what a fantastic master stroke Church has been. There's no need for so many hopeless throws of the darts. Better to leave it all unfilled and shame the owners into releasing a proper budget that the club's income allows. I suspect Adams will be a bit pissed off whatever he has to say publicly, and that Taylor's record over the last 2 or 3 years doesn't bode well for an immediate return next game. Hope I'm wrong. |

| You couldn't fault the effort and commitment of both sides. Sadly the game was just head tennis played at break-neck speed for the most part.
A couple of scares at the end but a very weak effort from Pompey in the first half there was barely a chance to score.
0-0 was fair enough and disaster was avoided. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Even the shoddy biased daily rag can see how thin the squad is, shame they didn't ask where the money is going and why Adams has been relying on free agents from day one of the season. We basically have only eleven players (incl the injured Taylor) as a winning team, another one or two players out with injury and forget any chance of play offs. The idea of surviving in the Championship without major investment in the squad under Brents board is frankly laughable. |

Whatever hastens the departure of the reluctant one and his janner jamboys is fine with me. It's becoming like Animal Farm with the home fans [sheep] cheering as a few of our own are being ejected, while the whole Pompey end stands and laughs at their country cousins. |
