| Just another convenient press release with spurious dates thrown in to give the impression something's happening. It hasn't, It's not. it wont. It's a stalling tactic. Every now and then Argo thrown us a bone to quell dissent amongst the forum peasants.
Dates mean nothing at Ago. I think that fact has been well established since Brent's been running the gaff.

Then I'm totally bewildered now. That disabled stand is CLEARLY still in situ on the original refurb plans (when the Herald actually display the correct drawings without corners filled in)
Whats going in that position now ?? Just empty space ?? It is indeed very strange. There are no plans at all for development in that area. All I can think of is they need to create an access route for heavy machinery through that area? |

| I'd expect they will use that area for storing plant and or materials. |

| There are a couple of shite and decrepid portacabins in the area just inside the mayflower turnstiles and behind the disabled stand. From memory, the new Club Shop and Ticket office was being built off site to be 'airlifted' in by crane during the summer. These two buildings currently remain in their old position on HHP, and you would think that these buildings would be crucial to be up and running for the start of the 2018/19 season. But then again, this is Argyle who can't even provide cleaners around the stadium. |

"quarter of city restaurants expected to close" He knows what he's doing as a respected property developer, and has an excellent business record and look at how he has turned around Argyle. |

| Hey, now I've got an idea. Seeing as the corners won't be redeveloped as new seating ever by Brent, how about just cheaply landscaping them for the time being, seeding with grass, a couple of flat terraces and let a reduced number use them on fine match days like test cricket fans can laze in the sun in Australia. Now that would be a first in pro football.....family picnic with Argyle, weather permitting. Half the games next year would qualify as dry enough. More for asthetics than any attempt to increase capacity in a meaningful way. And who knows how that feel might work. The corporates would be mighty jealous in their little boxes. |

| I've often thought that bees, much more pleasing on the eye than a concrete wasteland. Probably some regulation preventing it, we're lowly football fans after all not Glyndebourneites |

| It wouldn't hurt a family enclosure type thing. It would look fantastic rather than some dredged wasteland, and would attract attention from around the football world. I'm a genius, and so are you Les. You can do it at Tavi or St Austell. Why not small scale at a pro club "in between refits". Somebody has got to be first. It's a pleasure on occasion and a great way to watch footy when it's half decent waether. Could be accused of gentrification, but who cares, that's already happening. I was brought up watching Penzance AFC while making daisy chains. Didn't do me any harm If nothing else, plant the Devon[port corner with some bleddy flowers or shrubs while it's left waiting for a mythical upgrade after it's been bulldozed. It'll only cost 5 grand extra And before anybody thinks I'm a gorm, just remember the owners of Drake Circus couldn't develop a part of their land ( British Land ), so allowed it to be the jigsaw garden while waiting for the next input of demand/capital. The council pays for it's maintenance. Everyone wins. |

| 111 days in and counting....
GT's message of 27th Match after getting bombarded from all directions being a month over prospectus date was
"Hi guys, Please bare with us with regards to the new build. We’ve hit a couple of unannounced stumbling blocks along the way but we a very nearly there! We will have all legalities settled by the end of this week"
Well that went well
Another attempt to quell the supporters interest failing dismally.

| Surely before you lend money, you need to know the terms and conditions. All sounds a bit marshmallowish to me.

Brent has stuck his oar in once again and pushed the boundaries. One of the senior posters here as already alluded to it. The hot money is sitting on the GT's finally realising that James Brent is a devious little weasel and fortunately they are not too late to pull back from the brink |

| Pretty sure the Electronic board was funded by various supporters groups, You'd think they would like to know whats happening with their members hard earned cash. |

| Not really. There's a few voices who dominate these fans' bodies. They would pass over their life savings to the Argyle owners without so much as a cursory check. Of course they don't, and never would, but they recommend everyone else do so, as they then gain in whatever way they have arranged for themselves. I include the "taverners" in this, who have blatantly and unashamedly gone around sounding like some official charity when they are nothing of the sort. Such is the way of psychophants. It has the same feel as a pyramid selling scam, and all for a mobile home on a 5 year lease, with no further guarantee, with the club and Brent's plans in direct competition. Unbelievable. |

Could that mean no one was silly enough to pull up the money? Plenty of stumbling blocks, but no sign of breeze blocks. |
