| Perhaps we can be told why the disabled stand is still in situ despite being touted for removal on 8th April onwards.....?? JCB's all on hire Brent perhaps ??
125 days in and further away from bricks as ever. Wonder how they're going to spin the story to the displaced Grandstand ticket holders being told "you can have your seats back I've fecked up as expected" |

| How surprising that none of this has made it's way to Pasoti, or is it another case of 'nothing to see here, move on'. |

Verschlimmbesserung [German; fir-sch-lim-bess-er-oong]: an attempted improvement that actually makes things a lot worse. "Verschlimmbesserung" rolls of the tongue rather nicely (once you give it a few goes). |

Silly to even suggest otherwise. |

Can't argue with that although given PAFCs willingness to shout from the rooftops the fact they are moving the ticket office you'd have thought that by know we would have heard who the main contractor for the refurb is and an expected start date? Even if we signed contacts today do you really think any big firm is ready to start in six weeks? |

| Update as follows, although it looks likes its for the new portacabins, which he wants sorted so he can clear the currentl shop and ticket office for his ice rink.
Works are anticipated to commence on site mid May 2018 and due to complete November 2019
A structural engineer has been appointed Jubb Consulting Engineers Ltd based out Plymouth Ariport and a QS QSPM Consultants LLP, based in roborough.
No sign of a main contractor for the Grandstand though or any actual dates for Grandstand.

| Local folk would imply Brent and Hallett are trying the "buckets" routine with some of this early prep work. "Do it for diddly and you can have a year's complementary tickets." |

| I reckon there will be an anouncement as soon as it becomes clear which division Argyle are in next year, and the huge difference in available monies. It must have crossed his mind, while doodling at home with nothing to do. |

Hold on SFD Brents own words in January from the Herald " I will be hugely disappointed if the refurbishment isnt under away before end of Q1" clearly making the point it was well expected prior to that as well The quotes are on ATD from the herald at that time. Moving and "attempting to charge" the GT'S for moving their tent is not any refurbishment but purely down to aiding his own attempted clusterfuck In any case why on earth move the disabled if they weren't going to do the work now anyway prior to seasons end The reason we havent heard sod all about contractors is Brent is facing a total meltdown having been told its going to cost more to refurb the place by GL events then knock it down completely and start again. That info has come from multiple sources and plenty on ATD were aware of it going by what they were saying at the mash up last saturday |

The reason we havent heard sod all about contractors is Brent is facing a total meltdown having been told its going to cost more to refurb the place by GL events then knock it down completely and start again. That info has come from multiple sources and plenty on ATD were aware of it going by what they were saying at the mash up last saturday GL events wouldnt be doing the actual grandstand refurb, they are providing a couple of temporary structures to replace the club shop and ticket office. Brent said this a little while ago, when he was talking about about dates for the Mankover. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]“Without giving too many clues away, the provision of the new retail and ticketing facilities will be at an earlier time in the build than most of the rest of it.” Brent is busy clearing all the nasty football stuff off his land, so he can either develop it or sell it off at massive profit. The Grandstand can go feck itself. You are making the mistake of thinking Brent gives a shit, whilst he has rags like the Herald failing to challenge any of the corporate waffle they allow to spout on their failing rag and Uncle Toms like Newell speaking for the silent majority, he will get away with it. |

| Well whatever the rhetoric spoken from whomever its pretty obvious something is badly wrong...... We mentioned few months ago (and repeated above today) that even if contracts were signed today nothing could possibly happen anytime soon from a logistical point of view. 2019 in my view at the earliest but in my mind its all gone tits up and it will come out in the wash pretty soon.
Perfectly correct though Hugh that the shyster couldnt give a feck either way
Nikkk that face palm on Pasoti and your clear annoyance over Brent charging £10 plus a booking fee for the beamed game didnt go unnoticed either |

| So they haven't got anyone yet. No surprise there then. That would almost confirm Brent and Hallett are waiting to see what division Argyle are in next season. If that stretches out, then end of May. I'm actually finding it all quite amusing, apart from what actually gets built or doesn't. |
