Just seen that the stadium for Cornwall has been given approval and work could start before the end of the year,better get a move on brenty or otherwise another grandstand will be up before the argo one !!!!

Even if we signed contacts today do you really think any big firm is ready to start in six weeks?

Update as follows, although it looks likes its for the new portacabins, which he wants sorted so he can clear the currentl shop and ticket office for his ice rink.

Works are anticipated to commence on site mid May 2018 and due to complete November 2019

A structural engineer has been appointed Jubb Consulting Engineers Ltd based out Plymouth Ariport and a QS QSPM Consultants LLP, based in roborough.

No sign of a main contractor for the Grandstand though or any actual dates for Grandstand.

Local folk would imply Brent and Hallett are trying the "buckets" routine with some of this early prep work. "Do it for diddly and you can have a year's complementary tickets."

Modular Mankover going nowhere as expected, the Brentmare goes on.

No details on start date for the grandstand, just his portakabins.

I reckon there will be an anouncement as soon as it becomes clear which division Argyle are in next year, and the huge difference in available monies. It must have crossed his mind, while doodling at home with nothing to do.

Brents own words in January from the Herald " I will be hugely disappointed if the refurbishment isnt under away before end of Q1" clearly making the point it was well expected prior to that as well

The quotes are on ATD from the herald at that time. Moving and "attempting to charge" the GT'S for moving their tent is not any refurbishment  but purely down to aiding his own attempted clusterfuck

In any case why on earth move the disabled if they weren't going to do the work now anyway prior to seasons end

The reason we havent heard sod all about contractors is Brent is facing a total meltdown having been told its going to cost more to refurb the place by GL events then knock it down completely and start again.  That info has come from multiple sources and plenty on ATD were aware of it going by what they were saying at the mash up last saturday

GL events wouldnt be doing the actual grandstand refurb, they are providing a couple of temporary structures to replace the club shop and ticket office.
