| The classic excuse for picking on fans being "monitored" will be standing at the game. They're still not confident enough yet in what they're trying, to start turfing out friends of ordinary ST holders who can't attend the game. But it may well be used sooner or later if they spy one of their targets. Newell is having the time of his life, and such harassment is more important to him than any football club. |

You'll be asked by a steward to come underneath the stand for a 'chat'. Back will be there flanked by two other stewards like a Gestapo man. As soon as you raise your objections to their accusation in the remotest way you will be banded as acting in an 'aggressive' manner. It's classical stitch up material, they've done their homework on you & your being watched as soon as you enter the ground. |

| Akkeron Argo 1 mighty Rochdale 1 Not good enough, needed a win, plus points - more shots on target than the opposition and no one sent off now only four points away from safety. The will be more than happy. |

| FFS just not enough, good unbeaten run but it's wins we need, Gills, Northampton and Donny all winning, it will take a monumental change for us to avoid the drop this year. |

The problem is we are too much of an attacking team (Derek says). |

| we could have won this game in truth and probably should have. We played some good football to be fair right up to the point Grant got taken off and Blissett came on and then it went to shit.
For some reason keeping the ball in the air is the new tactic at the moment when we played are best stuff with the ball on the ground. No one had a bad game to be fair defence went to sleep for the rochdale goal.
FA Cup next week i wonder if we will be allowed to play Matthews given the terms of his loan and whether Norwich will want him cup tied. |

| Funny sort of game really. Argyle certainly got off to the best possible start with Grant heading home at the far post from Carey's pin point cross. Not much really happened after that until, a Carey free kick and a disallowed Rochdale effort aside, Rochdale's number 16 [who was a bit of a thorn in the side for Argyle's centre backs] was allowed as much time and space as he wanted to turn and fire home a low shot. Very contrasting start to the second half, thrills and spills at both ends and some great one touch football from Argyle featuring Grant and Taylor Sinclair [who I must say has been a bit of a revelation in spite of being allegedly Doncasters worst ever player]- must have been very close to a goal when the keeper grabbed the ball back from the goal line, like to see it again but gut feeling is the linesman was right. Blissett came on for what was to prove not one of the more telling substitutions of all time, Wylde shot over and there were a couple of bits and pieces at the other end but a draw was ultimately a true reflection between two struggling sides. Still very worrying where exactly enough goals are going to come from in this team. |

| Look like The Giggle don't have enough to survive in this league, got to feel for Adams, doing his best with limited resources. Reminds me a bit of Mick Jones tenure, totally different personality to Adams of course but the real decent fans routing for him, but ultimately not enough quality in the squad due to budget constraints. Brent is taking the piss, bought off the arselicker fans with aaa passes and got the local newspaper onside, free to asset strip with his cuddly teddy bear motif.
Never used to understand this mentality but I understand why some 'people of Plymouth' are so disgusted by that club they chose a premier league club to follow |

| Good post Herts, here and now the issue is lack of quality in the squad due to obvious budget restraints. I genuinely think that Adams has done his best but there is only so much a manager can do in terms of getting in an effective player on a limited budget. Consequently we are in a situation where the manager is having to rely on free agents at the end of October. This situation is a damming indictment of Brents financial model for the club and the strong possibility that it will be touch and go if argyle survive one season in league 1which is a travesty for a club in such a large city. |

| I thought Steve Davey summed it up best. " When you have a bit of confidence back, and can put a bit of a run together, you have to win these sort of games against struggling opposition when Carey is back to some sort of form. Points have to be obtained now before the next dip in form" Basically, he's worried this is about as good as it gets. |
